How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There is no staff at the place. Luckily we didn't have any troubles, but if you're looking for a personal touch, it's absent.
Central location near railway station, close to restaurants and supermarkets.

The air conditioning did not do anything. We did everything but the temp stayed at 22 to 22.5 degrees. Too much to sleep really well for some of us.
The location, the design and the system. We had an excellent room to the back. It meant up and down journeys due to the layout but that is okay.

When we arrived in our room, the room wasn't clean from the last guest, the bed was a mess, all the towels were on the floor... We got in contact with the manager (we got in contact much faster by calling than by WhatsApp) and they changed our room, but it was quite inconvenient and we lost a bit of time with this. We tried to get a big locker for our luggage and there weren't any available, we ended up squeezing our luggage (we almost weren't able to do it) on the small locker (we had carry on luggage).
The accommodation was really comfortable, new and beautiful, the room was big (I was in 2 people) and well equipped. The bathroom is big, and the shower is good. The location is good, near the central station, public transportation, restaurants, stores, markets. To get to the city center is fast and possible to do by walking. They offer lockers for luggage and sofas to wait if you need after the checkout.

Entrance right in front of bus stop, strangers stands right besides you when entering your door code. Staff claimed they are new so not able to advise where is the patio...

Parking is horrible. Only 13 parking spots available which you can book once you download the app. But these 13 spots are quickly reserved.

The location is central and in 5 min walk from main train station as well as restaurants, high street shops, etc. It was perfectly located. The flat was clean, big enough for 1 person or a couple. Coffee, tea and washing machine provided. Fully equipped kitchen as well. Tastefully furnished. Comfortable bed. Master bathroom was huge. And there is a guest bathroom too. The balcony was huge as well, shame I visited in the winter. Heaters provided which was great. Amazing flat. Can't fault it.

The hotel is very nice. The fact that some of the rooms are in a building that is separated from the main building by an internal passage is a little confusing. There are no slippers or minimal hygiene kit in the room, but all this is available in the store next door. I also had a question about cleaning, but Christiana helped me and kindly provided late check-out. we had a good time

If I had to nitpick...the sofa bed is a bit uncomfortable for just sitting on as a couch. But this DID NOT deter from us having an amazing time in Antwerp!
Excellent, easy check in process with electronic door code. Staff is VERY responsive and quick! We were pleasantly surprised that we received a room upgrade with more space, it was WONDERFUL! Very clean, dishwasher & washing machine in apartment. Beds are HUGE and SO comfortable! Extra linens were left for our week stay. Strong wifi, no issues streaming and working on the computer. Great location: close to grocery, premium shopping, transport of all kinds and attractions. We walked everywhere easily!

A lot of space, very clean, quiet. Close to the city center. Check in system was very new to me but loved it! Very organized and good value for the money. We will come back here for sure and would recommend !
