Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomIt might be worth asking for a quiet room, I got quite a but of noise in the mornings from the highway nearby (last time I stayed I had a room facing into another direction which was less noisy). Rooms are clean but corridors are not.
I have stayed at this hotel before, perfectly pleasant with good and varied breakfast. Well located, there is a large posh supermarket on the other side of the highway and plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. The weather was so hot that I did not venture out much at lunchtime but there is plenty of choice.

Cheap and basic rooms. The restaurant attached to the hotel served really nice food and reasonably priced. There is a huge shopping centre just round the corner. Hotel was convenient for a one night stay

AustraliaI think they have never cleaned the showers before and the walls are also dirty, not to mention the curtains. Also nothing in the fridge (I’d consume and pay it separately if there was something there), not enough toilet paper and toiletries and the price is ridiculous not to include breakfast that is the most basic I’ve ever seen.
