In all honesty, nothing.

This recently renovated hotel ticks all the boxes: Friendly, cheerful staff who genuinly care about the wellbeing of their guests. Cozy, comfortable rooms with all the amenities you expect, including a powerful high-pressure rainfall shower. Thirdly and most importantly, a great location, within walking distance (2 minutes!) from the World Heritage protecyed Old City of Berne. And if you need public transport, the bus and tram stop right in front of the hotel.

The bathroom has a dark tinted glass but you can still see through it. It’s not an ideal situation.

The hotel itself is very beautiful. The room we were in felt modern and was comfortable and clean. Also, the staff were friendly and super helpful. And the mini bar was complementary! We love the location, too. Directly outside the hotel is a tram/bus stop but you could also walk into the town by crossing the bridge and have a spectacular view of the river with a very fairytale-like backdrop of the town.

Only had one minor issue during my stay and it was the door to the room, everytime someone was in the corridor and the door to my room would make a bang.

Hotel was in a great location, the tram was right out side but nothing was too far of a walk away either. Lovely staff, clean hotel, room was excellent, could not fault

The temperature control inside the room was so difficult. Adjusting the temperature from the control panel didn’t work. The room was very warm sometimes. The separator window between the bathroom and the bedroom was uncomfortable and didn’t give a sense of privacy.

The location is great, the staff is so kind and friendly, amazing breakfast and the design of the hotel is unique.

We had a double bed in a corner. The bed itself was comfortable, but it’s awkward for one of you to get out of bed and they’re isn’t much room for a glass of water, or your glasses.

Great Location and friendly helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and we were helped with language and food selection each night by Vanessa Ma, she was wonderful.

I was asked to pay a deposit of 100 CHF or EUR upon arrival because I paid with a debit card. I was fine with that, however nowhere in the booking or the confirmation email did it mention anything about a deposit upon arrival. Additionally, the deposit needed to be paid in cash which I therefore had to withdraw from a nearby ATM. It would have been so much simpler to just withhold the deposit amount in my card like they would do if I had prepaid for the room. They gave back the deposit upon check out, so that part was straightforward enough.

The room was comfortable and very clean, the staff very kind and professional. The location is great, only a few minutes from the centre of Bern's Old Town. I would stay here again.

the location was excellent. View from my room was great .Very friendly front desk. The breakfast had a good spread . it was my 25th wedding anniversary and we were happy that we choose the right hotel. room was super clean and actually walkable to city central .the tram stop was just right so that was a major plus point.

Excellent place for our weekend getaway in Bern! The bus stop is in front of the hotel and takes you to the old town very quickly. We did not expect it but the hotel was also extremely kids-friendly, with a huge playroom on the ground floor. Definitely our place of choice from now on when we visit Bern

Rooms were a little noisy? Maybe some construction work going on. But didn’t bother us much. No air conditioner in the room - or maybe it was switched off during winter. We liked to have a little air during sleeping.

The location is fantastic. You walk out and just a short walk away to the main old town. I love that it’s a bit quieter and overlooking the river. Staff speak good English ( a unique thing in Bern ) and they were very helpful in explaining us how to get around, recommendations etc. Room size is great for Europe standards. Room is clean and well maintained. Mini bar is equipped and daily water , coffee capsules etc is provided. Overall we were super satisfied. Great value for money!
