It was clean and convenient. For a backpacker/hostel, it was pretty good. We had shared bathrooms and showers but it was never an issue or crowded. Everyone was respectful. Johnny was the most amazing manger and host. Honestly so helpful and friendly, he made the stay even better. Convenient to the facility next door with amenities and a reasonable and picturesque walk to town. Very quiet at night.

Very friendly staff. Very good price. Open until change of colors. Good facilities. Unbeatable location right on the stream at the base of two falls in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Easy travel to Grindelwald-First and Jungfrau. Cable cars in town to cliff tops for hiking. Friendly and safe for solo travelers!

The pillow was basically just a case with a few feathers in it. The bed wasn't the greatest either

The view from the room was amazing, the kitchen and common areas were clean and up to date. It is close enough to town and the station to walk and it's right on the walking trail to the valley

Amazing location with incredible views. Great walkability along the river to downtown lauterbrunnen or to the waterfalls and fields of baby cows. I didn't realize this catered to base jumpers until we arrived (we don't base jump) but it was cool to talk to them and hear about their jumps!

The shower area could do with a spruce up, although the shower heads and water pressure were great. It's very expensive for what it is, but that's Switzerland for you... parking was good

Amazing location and deal. It's right by the river. This is mostly for Base Jumpers - of which we are not - but everyone was welcoming. Enjoyed the community and games available.

The bathrooms were a little walk from the room but really no big deal.

Johnny and his enormous dog/horse(?) Indi were so friendly. He came out of the office with great energy and was so helpful and fun. Our view from the balcony blew our minds.

Difficult to get in touch, no one ever at reception which is absolutely fine however I couldn’t get a towel as no one picked up the phone we were to call. Apart from that, everything was great.

Lovely little stay, perfect part of Lauterbrunnen. Lovely garden where we enjoyed dinner. Comfy and cosy.

The location is a bit far from the train station, and one needs to take a bus to go there. There are no elevators available.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating! Any requests are done immediately.

A hostel of a different kind. Awesome location at the heart of Lauterbrunnen valley overlooking Staubach falls. Highlight was the owner and his mastiff Indi. We wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend for solo/group travellers.

The rooms are a wee bit small and the beds aren't super cushy but neither of these really got in the way of us enjoying our stay.

We liked that we could see the waterfall right outside our window, that we were close to but not in downtown, and that we could cook our own food! We also thought the showers were nice, and had we stayed there longer, we would have used their laundry facilties. The hosts were great, we loved the big great Dane, and the other guests (many of whom were base jumpers) were fun and easy to talk to.

I really enjoyed my stay in Lauterbrunnen, Jonny and the lady were very kind and thoughtful, the provided fertilities were really comprehensive. Lauterbrunnen is one of my stops in Switzerland in this grand trip, I super recommend anyone who wishes to spend their nights in this lovely valley to stay at this property.

Location is ideal

A perfect spot for any explorer or just need a cheap but highly characterful place to stay. Having the campsite restaurant, bar and shop 50 metres away definitely helps
