Its a bit old. But you cannot complain with the cheap price.

Location and price are the factors that I choose to stay here. Its just a 5 mins walk from the station and the price is the cheapest you can get here in Zermatt. Its an old school hotel but for a short and budget stay, it is still worth it. View from balcony is really stunning (both day & night). Not so many customers which is great. It really is a pleasure to experience Zermatt by staying in this hotel. I hope this hotel can survive for long. I wish the owner all the best and have a great life ahead.

No lift so need to walk stircase .

The location, room and space is very good, the heater work fine. Near to train station and coop.

In the evening it was nobody on the reception , we were scared that we will not go inside in he room . But then we were managed to call to responsable person .

The WiFi didn’t work and there was no staff around most of the time to help out. The bathroom was very strange.

The hotel is located close to the train station, just 3 minutes walk which is very convenient.

I probably missed it on booking, but was disappointed to see that the ensuite was shower and basin only, with a separate shared toilet. Could have been a little cleaner. Would have felt a little insecure if stayed on own.

Very quiet (felt like we were the only people in the hotel). Great to have a balcony and view with the Matterhorn just behind trees. Very close to amenities/transportation.

The ground floor entrance and lobby of the building had a rather funky smell, perhaps due to the recent heavy rains and the age of the building. but the upstairs rooms were fine.

Our room had a nice balcony with a great view of the Matterhorn. Although the building is quite old, our room was very clean and well furnished. We even had a shower in the room, though the toilet was down the hallway. Checking in was absolutely hassle free, and the manager was very nice. The hotel is literally two minutes away from the main train station and trains going up the mountain, but it is still very quiet and perfectly secluded with its own back courtyard.

it seems there is no reception, however, there is telephone to contact the person to inform which is your room and just take the key.

The room view is nice because you can see Matterhorn. the only concern that I got is the bed. The cushion is a little bit old that there are some uneven spots in the bed. But we enjoyed our stay because the staff are great.

It was a self check in so we didn’t get much information when arriving. The wifi is only accessible in common areas.

The room was comfortable and excellent value for the price. There is a great view of the matterhorn from the balcony. It was clean and also quite close to the train station.

I misunderstand that the toilet is include in the private bathroom. Not so bad though. And the staff is hard to reach and made me confuse at first.

The property is very old, with minimal facilities. We stayed in a Very rund down carpeted room with an umcomfortable bed, which meant we striggled to get a good night’s sleep. There is no kettle to borrow, so we had no way to make coffee or tea. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everyone.

It is very close to the station, which is extremely convenient with luggage. The views from the balcony are great. The street is quiet during the night. It seemed fairly clean
