The quality of the room is very basic. Very old bathroom, bed isn't very comfortable, curtains were tied in a knot, so cannot just close them. There was a stain on my pillow. The toiletteries weren't refilled. No hair dryer.

The location of the hotel is very good and central.

We did not receive mail for check in as advised, I had to contact the staff and wait for the instructions and for the Baselcard.

The place was vey clean and in an amazing location, the price was also very good . They should advise that u have to pay for the kitchen facilities 25 Swiss francs for 24hrs and was a little bit of a struggle to get inside but we made it .

The room is very simple but perfect for a short stay in the city. The check in process was unique but straightforward, and the location was very convenient. The room itself was warm, cosy, with a comfortable bed and functioning shower. WiFi was good but no tv in the room. The social areas downstairs were nice and spacious, however we had to resort to sitting downstairs to charge our phones as the sockets in the room were not suitable for our adaptors; they did not fit so we were restricted. The sockets downstairs were more flat so the adaptors we had could fit better. Overall, lovely room, lovely location, would come back again if for another short stay!

The location is excellent—just a 1-minute walk from the river. You can easily explore all the major tourist attractions on foot. The cleanliness is good. A special thanks to Aicha Kaafar for her support. She helped me with an early check-in, which I really appreciated.

Found the check in process complicated, went back and forth to the emails and the booking to found out how to get in and afterwards do the check in. I would have also appreciated more information before hand, like there is a self service toilet paper closet ;) the bathroom cabinet and the shower holder is way too high.

It was nice and easy to entrance. All what you need is there. It is all online and on the phone, there is no stuff there, but they work 24h on the online way and answern very quick. You have an luggage Room and it is well located.

Interior in photos was nicer than in real life. Everything felt cheap, bathroom interior terribly dated with bathroom floors being stained and looking unpleasant. Although towels and bed linen were clean, some had some stains that’s cannot be washed - not pleasant to use. Floors were cleaned just in the area easily reachable, but heavy layer of dust below the bed and corners. There’s no sound insulation thus - everything happening around is well heard in the room! Be it neighbours coming to their rooms, late night loud talking and laughing or morning sex of someone next room - you hear it all!!

Although it is a self-check in hotel and no staff were present onsite, the ladies at the 24/7 chat were great - prompt responses and solutions to issues.

The walls are really thin, no good isolation you can hear talking in the next-door, neighbor, toilet flushing, but again it’s not in all room the same my friend stayed in the same floor different room. She didn’t hear any toilet flashing at all. I’d like to mention that there is no kitchen or there is but you need to pay extra value to get in for 25CHF. There is a living room where there is a coffee machine and cattle for the coffee you need to pay extra. I think 1 CHF.

The 24/7 online service is really great! Specially, Aicha was very helpful! They helped me to found the room for early checking my flight was in early morning, I received my Basel card via email prior my arrival I received the codes to my room via email in advance to my arrival for me was really great service! The hotel is well located, close to Claraplaz, there is close enough lot of small restaurants. There is Aldi, Mueller, Lidl. The room was clean and tidy, you have a bottle of water free of charge in the room when you arrive.. A little suggestion, how does it work to enter your room – you have a little box on the door please you need to scroll down the black window to pop up the code, when you enter the codes, there is a little button on the left-hand side. You need to push it down to open the box with a key. This is a very simple hotel for the price is good . Towels, toilet paper, washing liquids, hairdryer are provided I would suggest to bring your own cutlery, cups or mug. I had my own tea or coffee brought with me because they’re not free of charge here.

It was way to basic for the price £150 a night I paid and it felt like a hostel No reception or anyone around to provide any help No facilities in the room like tv or coffee maker The room was super hot even I turned the heater off I had to open the window at night ( in February) It had a gloomy feeling

I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. First, I never received an email with instructions on how to self-check-in, which made my arrival unnecessarily stressful. The common areas were dirty, and my room wasn’t much better—there were stains on the bedsheets, which was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the noise insulation was terrible. Every time the person above me flushed their toilet, it was extremely loud and disrupted my sleep. The worst part was at checkout. Despite following the instructions and leaving my key in the safe box as required, the hotel falsely accused me of not checking out properly. They even threatened to contact authorities, which was completely uncalled for. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of better options at this price point.

The smell of the room was off, no working bathroom exhaust fan, uncomfortable pillow and mattress. Room was very different from the pictures!

Aicha offered the besr customer support I could ever ask for. Close to everything and personal bathroom.

Maybe it is a low season now, but I found the room less taken care of than usual.

Simple, functional. 3 min from tramway stop and 5 min walk from the exposition hall. It was my 5th stay in this hotel, I quite like it.
