We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PortugalThe SPA was not working. I understand that the hotels don’t like to keep the costs of maintaining the spa area, but at least they could warn their customers about this. As “compensation”, the hotel offered us a bottle of Prosecco, which is always welcomed 😃

United KingdomWe stayed here in early January in the suite with a gorgeous view to the lake. Beau Rivage is a classic hotel with notes of nostalgia. My wife and I really enjoyed its atmosphere. The staff were kind and very attentive. The breakfast was exquisite with a great selection of fresh local pastries and cheese.

SwitzerlandThe only thing to regret was the that the stay in this lovely place was so short.
Splendid small garden with a swimming pool and direct private access to the lake. Atmospheric and cozy and clean interior of a historical Swiss lakeside hotel. Nice restaurant in the hotel, we had a very pleasant dinner. The view on the lake is breath-taking (we were lucky to be upgraded to a Lake-facing room). Diverse breakfast.

United KingdomI think that, in light of current climate changes, the hotel should seriously consider installing air conditioning. We spent 4 nights there and were constantly overheated in the bedroom, making sleep very difficult. Even opening the patio doors was insufficient as there was little or no breeze.
Location is excellent, staff very helpful and the breakfast is first class.

We had one evening meal where we ordered two courses which were not exceptional but we were prepared to pay the very high cost specified on the menu but we were also served an “amuse bouche” which we had not ordered. This consisted of one mouthful of tuna on toast and we were surprised to be charged an extra 4.9 Swiss francs for each one.
