Well located in the center of Kandersteg, close to the train station, Oeschinensee Gondola,...the room was really big and well equipped, with good views on the mountains from the balcony. The staff is helpful. Good breakfast. The big plus is the sauna :)

We only had 1 night stay in this hotel, but we really enjoyed our time spent there. Our room was very clean, spacious, having also a terrace with amazing mountain view. The breakfast was simple, but good. The staff was very polite and accommodating.

All good. A sofa would be nice rather than chairs.

Great location. Bus 230 from station takes you there (2 stops). Room was very clean. Buffet breakfast had a good variety of food. They were able to provide soy milk due to my dairy allergy which I notified a few days ahead. It has a small elevator. They can give you a tourist card that gives free bus and train travel and discounts on gondolas. Restaurant meals are good and reasonable prices compared to others around.

Very comfortable and spacious rooms in a beautiful building with amazing view to the surrounding mountains. Uncomplicated booking, check-in and check-out. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Hope to stay there again!

No evening meal on the night we arrived, but plenty of options in the town. Menu selection on second night quite limited.

The breakfast for pretty ordinary considering the high charge.

The staff were very friendly and the location is very good. Please ensure to activate the city pass upon check in. It will allow you free access on public transport and also discounts on cable car and entry to lakes etc.

Where the hotel is situated Nice balcony with a great view of the mountains, soothing bird sounds, and a bus stop that is conveniently located (free travel with hotel city card). lovely breakfast and spacious room. (Alarmingly, another private bed) neighbouring sites, to name a few Lake Oeschinen, the tobogun run, the train station and the bus stop next to the hotel are all eight minutes' walk away. Get the city card from the hotel as a tip. The receptionist gave electric converter. Lift facility, hotel restaurant

Great location in Kandersteg! Very close to Blausee (10 min with the bus) and Oeschiensee Lake (10 min walk to the cable cars). I would highly recommend paying a little extra for a room with the mountain view! It was breathtaking. The hotel also offers discount tickets to some attractions, cable cars and free public transport in the area. The bus stops right in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, I didn't have the pleasure to try the breakfast, so I can't give an opinion on that, but I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit Kandersteg again.

When we were, at the of May, the temperatures were still pretty low and it was raining; some of our clothes got wet but the hotel did not turn on the heater in bathroom; so our room was a bit cold; but after a while the owner gave a portable heater for the room, which was enough.

We stayed in a new part of the hotel; the room was large enough, beds were confortable.

The bathroom was a little dated but it was not a problem.

The owners and staff were so friendly and made us very welcome. The food was good and the breakfast was excellent. There was plenty of it. In the restaurant they always topped the bread and tap water up for no extra charge..

Spacious south facing room with balcony and stunning views. Lovely breakfasts. Staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. Great location in Kandersteg. Cosy restaurant with lovely atmosphere.
