A Perfect Stay Surrounded by Nature and Relaxation We stayed at this hotel to enjoy not only the beautiful natural surroundings but also the amazing spa. We had already visited the spa before, but this time, we decided to stay overnight – and it turned out to be an excellent idea! Unlimited access to the spa was a great bonus, and the tunnel connecting the hotel directly to the wellness area made everything so much easier. No need to worry about changing – bathrobes, towels, and slippers were all provided, allowing for complete relaxation. We especially loved the thermal pools with stunning views, the cozy atmosphere, the attentive staff, and the live music in the bar in the evening. The breakfast was also worth mentioning – delicious and with a great variety of choices. We would definitely love to come back!

There was one situation that holds us back from truly recommending this place - the dinner at the Le bistro restaurant. First of all, we were charged for a different meal than we ordered. We paid 20 CHF more and left the restaurant being disappointed with the taste of the food and the service of the restaurant.

The Hotel is clean and nicely designed. The rooms are of a good size, comfy beds, breakfast with plenty of choice. Hotel parking is just in front of the venue and WiFi works fine. Also the closeness of the baths is a big bonus. A lovely welcome at the reception and overall great impression.

The welcome, the food, the waiters (especially in the evening) the silence in the rooms, the ability to send postcards in the morning, the swimming pool, how clean the rooms were, the welcome gifts, the tv... We knew it would be great but it was better than expected...

Only the coffee is not so good, not in the hotel and also bad in the thermal. But we see that the coffee is bad in many places, as if Switzerland were not a coffee nation. But of course it's a matter of taste.

Very good Hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms, the breakfast was very good, there is a large selection, there is also gluten-free bread. The staff is kind and helpful. The tunnel to the thermal bath is cool. The thermal is very good, big, not so crowded. There are many places for excursions around the hotel. The town has its own tele cabin to the mountain with a nice view. So absolutely recommended, we will return.

Hotel is a bit inaccessible but free parking is provided. Check in time is a bit late as well. Not many other restaurants available near the area but there’s a nice Italian restaurant around the corner.

Love the thermal bath that is directly connected to the hotel and the bathrobe/towels/slippers provided for use in the thermal bath. Huge and comfortable rooms as well with a good view at the balcony. Delicious spread for breakfast, especially the fresh honey comb and smoked salmon, and of course their chocolate products.

We liked everything! but it would be be nice to have wider variety for kids for dinner.

Spacious and very clean room, very friendly staff, the hot pools were awesome, very tasty breakfast and dinner, the kids loved the VIP cards for free chocolate . Good location, not far from Gruyere old town, the chocolate factory in Broc and some beautiful nature spots. The music playing on Sunday was very nice. We would love to stay there again!

There is no AC in the room. The room was therefore very warm (on the 3rd floor, under the roof). A fan was provided, but it was fairly small in diameter and therefore quite loud for the amount of displaced air. We didn't sleep very well as a result. Given the high price of the hotel, having no AC is certainly becoming a huge disadvantage for summer stays. The breakfast was slightly disappointing: some dishes were not replenished (roast beef and mozzarella plates for instance), the cheeses were not labelled, there was no traditional "moutarde de Benichon" nor "vin cuit". It seemed there were no "anglo-saxon friendly" options either.

Great location by the thermal spa, with free access to the fantastic spa. Nice terrace, perfect for dinner and enjoying a drink. Great service at the reception. Great pastries at breakfast. Good discount for Sunday nights.

I liked everything! The parking space is so convenient The reception staff is so welcoming and very well trained. We were checked-in and checked-out by two apprentices: I am not sure they are apprentices only though. You guys need to hire them as soon as possible! The health center is another level! Amazingly beautiful. You can come out from the pool with a totally positive mood. It is very convenient for couples (warm water, jacuzzi spaces, breath-taking view, calm). It is also very clean. In the night, we were late on dinner time. When I informed a waiter in the hotel restaurant that I just need some bread so we can eat something before we sleep, he said that he will try to get me sandwiches from the kitchen, and he certainly did get me 2 sandwiches so we don't sleep hungry! That was way over my expectations. The breakfast was also so generous. The village of Charmey is in itself so relaxing and the location really helps you to relax and recharge.
