Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SloveniaBecause of the allowed animals in the apartment, carpet was full of some animal hair, consequences of being in socks was bit sad. No droping things on the floor, no bear food walking around and stepping on the bed or sneakers. My dog at home still hate me because of some different smell.

United KingdomIt was too warm, and we had to ask for the heating to be switched off. Unfortunately, when that happened, the bathroom towel rail was also off.
Fantastic apartment, with very comfortable furniture, warmly decorated and equipped! We liked being able to access the hotel facilities, and the location was great, close to the shops and ski lifts. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

AustraliaOur apartment was on the third floor and the only small downside on arrival was lugging g heavy bags upstairs. It was still worth the effort when we arrived. Otherwise, the stairs were good exercise.
I loved the location!! It was so close to Zermatt station, the local supermarket and a beautiful stroll to the centre of Zermatt. The property itself was beautifully appointed with lovely decor. But practical too, a great little hanging wardrobe with shelves and mirror. Lovely soft furnishings with comfy chairs and lounges. The little kitchen was well appointed but I did miss a small microwave. An altogether lovely apartment well suited to our family of four adults.

MalaysiaChalet Antoine is a walk-up apartment. For those lugging huge/heavy luggage, do take heed.
1. Location - near train station, easy to handle luggage, NOT HILLY. EXTRA INFORMATION about location - From house, turn left, walk 200 mtrs to Zermatt look-out point, if you turn right and immediate left, you'll reach the fringe of the town centre. Walk about 200-300 meters to Matterhorn Museum , free with Swiss Travel Pass. 2. Kitchen - cooking eqipment complete. The dishwasher 🥰 3. Tea/coffee making facility - complete even without coffee maker, kettle suffice 4. Room - comfy bedding, more than enough pillows and cushions 5. Toilet & WC - love the scent of the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner 6. Living area - countless throw cushions and the rugs kept us warm as we glanced up at the Matterhorn from the balcony [partial view]. 7. We arrived late @ 2030hrs, but the contactless check-in process was superbly convenient. 8. For those wanting to spend a few nights in Zermatt, Chalet Antoine is the perfect place. 9. 3 bedroom apartment [ level 2] turned out to ALSO include a loft which sleeps two. Perfect for 8 pax. 10. We also booked a studio apartment - Level 4 [separate apartment] for 2 pax as we have a couple of honeymooners among us. The loft was superbly furnished for them. Thank you for making our stay a fantabulous one.

SingaporeWe took a while to find the check in counter as didn’t know we had to check in at the hotel opposite. It will be ideal if there’s a washing machine instead of the dishwasher.
Extremely warm and cosy and tastefully decorated. Location : walkable to many places without transport. It was an 4 mins easy walk from the train station. There’s a supermarket just 1 min walk. The apartment has 2 rooms with 1 full bath and 1 half bath which makes it super convenient for a family of four adults. There’s a kitchenette with full sized oven, dish washer and an induction cooker that can cook 4 pots at the same time. Cutlery and utensils are supplied. Toaster, coffee maker and kettle is also supplied with complimentary coffee powder, sugar and tea bags. Powerful hair dryer. Both bedrooms have TV and wardrobe with lots of hangers.

CroatiaThere is absolutely nothing not to like.
Apartment is large, very clean and nicely furnished. Location is great and quiet, it is literally on the other side of Zermatt railway station (100m of walking). Everything you need is there and if you miss something, grocery shop is on another side of the street and there is also a hotel with its own deli and restaurant. You also get terrace with chairs and swing chair. Wifi is excellent (exceptionaly fast).

SwitzerlandNo lifts in the building so those with big luggages & mobility issue may have trouble walking up and down the stairs. Our unit was on the first floor so that wasn't an issue. Otherwise everything is perfect!
Excellent location just a few minutes walk from train station, Denner supermarket, the village, Sunnega cable and the bus stop to the Matterhorn Paradise cable. Communication was clear. We were able to store our luggage securely before check in & after check out. Beautifully furnished unit with complete kitchen utensils & Ritual toiletries. My family had a great and comfortable stay. Thank you.
