I highly evaluate kindness of all staff (reception, restaurant), the room was perfect clean, location ideal. Additionally would like to mention good storage room for skies and ski shoes. I like the dinners, it was the real pleasure.

Only thing would be having access to restaurant at the hotel but that’s because I was there at the very start of the season. And the restaurants I ended up going to were great!

Hotel Cristal was a brilliant place to stay for skiing in Flumserberg. I stayed for the weekend and found the rooms very clean and comfortable with a great shower. Breakfast was ideal before a day on the slopes, and the sauna (extra 15 a day) was even more ideal after the day on the slopes. Shout out to Angela on reception who helped me with suggestions on where to eat as when I stayed the restaurant wasn’t open in the hotel (I think as it was start of season). I’d recommend Restaurant Sennästube or Pizzeria Flumserberg. The hotel was easy to get to (I got the gondola up) and all the staff were very friendly. I hope to return!

Whilst the room was not as large as some other hotels, it had a wonderful aspect looking out onto the rest of the village. Breakfast was quite good, although we only were offered scrambled eggs on the last morning of our stay. Special mention of staff member Edit in the resturant who provided us with boiled water and milk for a cup of tea each evening. Provided all the amenities required in a ski lodge. Location was spectacular as only 200m to main gondola and ski in, ski out with just a little more snow.

You have to prebook dinner during breakfast time. I knew about it, but forgot to do it, so I had to look for food outside which was quite inconvenient after an exhausting day on the slopes. Probably having some reminder on each table would make experience better for people like me. Or even give possibly to prebook at the table? E.g leave there pieces of paper to fill in with the list of available meals. It took me good 5 mins trying to find a switch for the bed lights: you just need to twist them to turn on/off. Not that I didn’t like it, it was just not obvious and I felt a little stupid 😄

The room was not big and quite simple, but everything was clean and comfortable. There was a welcome note and some treats which was very sweet :) Some reviews said that the breakfast was poor, with eggs and croissants. Looks like this feedback were considered as there was good variety of different foods: scrambled and boiled eggs, ham, cheese, cereals, fruits, croissants, etc. There’s ski depot and changing room where you can dry your boots.

One small suggestion would be during check in to include a reminder on top of the Half Board choices about notifying the kitchen about any food allergies, just incase an item is included in the preparation of food and is not listed individually on the menu.

The hotel was very pleasantly decorated fitting for an alpine venue with attention to details way beyond the expectation of a 3 star hotel. A major bonus was the open fireplace in the lounge which really added ambience, and the wellness area with sauna, steam-sauna and relaxation room - maybe a jacuzzi will be considered in future plans?! ;-) The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food good. I look forward to returning!

Excellent location - you can either ski in/out directly from the hotel to the nearby drag lift and then ski across to the main chairlift, or walk 5 minutes (uphill) to a main chairlift. The car park of the main chairlift is directly outside the hotel (that’s how close it is). We had the 2 bedroom sharing suite as a group of 4 and it was excellent - it had a mini kitchen for coffee and storing of cold food and drinks (in the fridge) and also a lounge area where we could watch TV together in the evenings. The suite also gave us free access to the wellness suite allowing us to have saunas everyday (as well as the jacuzzi bath in the room) which was lovely after a long day of skiing. The wellness suite is very clean and we had to ourselves the whole week. Also excellent staff - they let us check out late on the last day (5pm) at a cost and heated the sauna ready for us at 17:30 everyday. Very friendly and welcoming. The free parking is also ideal. We had a hire car as were meeting friends in a nearby town and also used it to drive down the mountain to the bigger shops (about 15 min drive) to get a cheaper dinner.

The hotel was a lovely place to stay during my short time in Flumserberg. It’s walking distance to the bus stop and to all of the amenities the town has to offer. The room was cozy and clean, the breakfast was very good, and the service was excellent. I also can’t recommend the spa enough.

Using the Spa / Sauna / Steam room facilities need be booked for an additional CHF15 per person.

Presented with a nice welcome drink on arrival. Gifted many discount vouchers for ski equipment rental, ski lessons and ski passes. Staff were friendly and made nice recommendations on surrounding local restaurants.

We booked this hotel too because there was a sauna. We found it very strange we had to pay for the sauna separately considering the room wasn't very cheap either. To not have coffee and tea facilities in the room is really strange. We also thought the pictures especially of the lounge look much more attractive than in real life.

Nice hotel not too far from the main ski lifts Breakfast was nice with enough variety. The hotel was clean and the room comfortable. The shoe and ski facilities are great. The staff very helpful and pleasant.

A mirror in the room would be nice. There was only a small one in the bathroom. Other than that everything was great.

Very nice family run hotel 3 min walk from the gondola. Clean and comfortable room, comfy beds, bathroom very clean. Nice lobby area. Easy check in. Very friendly and helpful stuff. Excellent breakfast - great variety, fresh food, tasty freshly baked bread, home made jams, good coffee. All in all we loved our short stay.
