I only had the time to appreciate this venue for less than 24 hours, so I was not able to spot any great area of improvement - except that Zermatt is confirmed to be very expensive (not specifically Hotel Daniela, but - as obvious - is aligned)

Despite arriving very late, the host managed to leave all the instructions to access the room. The hotel is definitively worth 4 stars, rooms are large and cozy, with a very nice bathroom and shower: A perfect place for relax and head for slopes. Very "hygge" place, full of red/gray forniture and accessories - with plenty of hearts everywhere. Breakfast was excellent! I reall enjoyed our stay, and I'll come back to Hotel Daniela for a longer stay

Not specific to this hotel, but in Zermatt overall unless you take a taxi or bus you have to walk a lot to access the ski lifts.

The hotel is located around a 15 min walk. It is not bad, but after a long train ride we were ready to rest. Wish I knew about the shuttle service option. Which we took advantage on our way out.

We really enjoyed the property and room decor. It provided an immersion into the Swiss culture. The staff was helpful and offered advice for activities and food. One of the members was Silvana. She made sure our breakfast was enjoyable and she really made us feel at home.

We loved Hotel Daniela! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was outstanding! The Hotel is located centrally, and we were able to walk to most destinations. The ski lockers were very convenient for our group, as was the transportation provided to the train station. I highly recommend this property if you want a Boutique Hotel feel in Zermatt.

The room was exceptional. Not only did the room had wonderful views of the Matterhorn, it was spacious, clean and charmingly rustic. The bathroom was modern with amenities and toiletries. We particularly appreciated the free breakfast (amazing spread of items!) and lovely hotel staff. This hotel was our favorite on our trip and we'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Lack of individual temperature control in rooms. It was either too cold or too hot. Have to ask reception to increase or decrease temperature and it is not on demand. ie you have to give them a time when to increase temperature . Soundproofing from floors above was not great. Upstairs neighbours had kids stomping around so ask for a room on a higher floor or maybe hotel can keep families on lower floors. Didn’t get a sense I was in a Swiss mountain hotel. All employees interacting with guests were foreign. A bit like being in Dubai, never interacting with Emiratis working in hospitality venues. This is all the more remarkable as hotel Daniela is touting being a family run hotel and Zermatt is a village.

Well maintained and modern in typical mountain style. Staff were all great and breakfast was gexcellent. Free minibar was an added plus. Attention to detail was great and everything was very clean.
