Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Felix. Arriving before the standard check-in time, we were pleasantly surprised to find our room ready, allowing us to refresh and begin exploring Zurich without delay. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and our room was spotless and cozy. Breakfast offered a delightful variety of fresh and tasty options. The hotel's central location made it easy to access the city's main attractions. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zurich.

SpainThe only downside? The old‑town church bells ringing at all times, but this isn't Hotel Felix's fault.
Hotel Felix exceeded expectations on every count. The central location makes it easy to explore the city on foot or via public transit yet the immediate surroundings are quiet enough for a restful night. Staff members consistently went above and beyond—check‑in was efficient, local recommendations were spot‑on and every request was met with genuine courtesy. For what you pay, the value is excellent: clean, comfortable rooms with good beds, solid Wi‑Fi and enough space to unpack and relax. I’d book it again without a second thought — in fact, I did it twice on this trip.

United StatesThe room was a bit small and the shower had a half covering of glass. The floor of the shower was just barely lower than the rest of the bathroom so water flowed out. Not a deal breaker.
Good location on the side of town with lots of little restaurants. Very clean and modern. It has a nice lounge/lobby breakfast area. Don’t forget to go across the river to the old area with shops - I almost missed it thinking the only area to see was along the river.

United StatesThe Felix is a short walk from Zurich HB, the main train station. It is also a reasonable walk from the Kunsthaus art museum and various other attractions in Zurich. It was a great location for us as first time visitors to Zurich. The beds were comfortable, the sheets were soft, and the room was clean. It was perfect.

Great location for exploring the city and beyond as the hotel is close to the train station, restaurants and bars. The breakfast was very good as there was ample choice of foods, such as, yoghurts, fruit, meats, cheeses, bread, scrambled eggs and bacon. The room was very clean and the bed was large and super comfortable. There's no coffee machine just some soluble coffee, there's some complimentary tea and water too. I would book this hotel again!
