We were 3 in the room. Room had 2 electric fans. Since i was the last to arrive. They didnt share the fan with me. And since was summer, it's kinda hot.

I just rented the place for one day. The location was nice. Near the zurich hb. Right outside your door are good scenic locations near some church buildings etc...

For what you get it’s very expensive, but I guess that’s Switzerland. The manager is very inflexible around checking in and baggage storage. The rooms get very hot in the summer.

Great location handy to the train station and right in the center of Zürich old town. Comfortable bed. Ok bathroom facilities, although the showers are basic.

The first impression was that it smelt amazing inside the property. The owner was friendly and showed us where everything was. Our room was nice, and the beds were super comfy. The location was also amazing as it was a 10 minute walk from the train station and then everything in the town centre was walkable! Could not recommend this property more if you're staying in Zurich.

No air conditioning. I think this normally wouldn't be a big deal but it was a very hot day when I was in zurich. The staff are off site outside of their hours, so don't show up early expecting to find someone. They have some peculiar rules, no shoes in the dorm rooms, and when I went to check in the lady made me stand in the hallway while she sat at her desk in a huge office and I watched her from the doorway... it was a strange interaction and made me feel unwelcome. Need to give a deposit to use the lockers.

Great location, although it's extremely hard to find the entrance. The hostel is charming and the staff are friendly. Bed was comfortable.

The only downside is the stairs this is a concern if you are not able to do a lot of stairs as even accessing the property requires 2 sets of stairs.

This is the best hostel in Zurich. We stayed on the top floor which is a lot of stairs but it was a gorgeous room with plenty of space for the 8 beds. The mattresses and pillows were the best I have had in a hostel and better than some hotel beds. The Bathrooms were well maintained and worked amazingly and the main woman was friendly and super helpful. Location was very central in down town old zurich and it was easy to still access public transport as needed.

The downstairs bathroom did not have running hot water. It bothered me because I paid almost 70 USD, which could have been paid for an Airbnb. When I booked the reservation, it claimed to have hot water.

The rooms were clean, the customers were solo travelers and I felt safe in the hostel- most importantly. The area where the hostel is located is spectacular.

No luggage storage, only if you pay 10 euros. No large lockers in the room, you can only put your backpack if you have a small one. Also for the locker you have to pay deposit. No early check-in, only possibly if you pay in advance.

Location was amazing, it is literally in the middle of the city centre. We went everywhere on foot, train station is really close by as well. Rooms are very large, lots of space. Everything was very very clean, it was cleaned daily by the host.

Showers were only on 2 floors so if your room isn’t on those floors, you’ll have walk to the showers on the stairs and can be a bit uncomfortable if you like privacy.

Convenient location to city centre with lots of shops, bars and transport readily available.

I think that in the description they should write that there is no elevator, very hard to carry a bıg suitcase up, stears are sharp! There are no rooms only for women, it is impossible to request a down bed. The check-in is at 16 and check out at 10. Normally in hostels, check-in is at 14 and check-out at 11. They charge for everything, for leaving luggage... The hostel is overpriced! There is only a very small room to sit in the evening, no public spaces. People have to know this prior booking

A very small kitchen, which was useful but you can only just fit two people in comfortably. Lots of steep stairs (but not the hostels fault of course). Only two toilets and showers in the whole place, so occasionally had to wait to go in - but was surprised at how little this happened!

We loved the outside roof terrace, sat there most evenings reading or eating dinner. The room for the 8 dorm was sizeable - so people could get out their stuff and pack/unpack. Location was FAB!

I still can’t believe that they do not allow luggage storage before check-in. I don’t care that they let you know beforehand, I have never stayed in a hostel that didn’t allow this. Combine this with a 4:00 check-in time which is pretty late, make it very frustrating as a traveler. The 4:00 check-in time would be fine if they allowed for luggage storage. I stayed in a hostel in Lucerne that was 5:00, but they allowed for storage. Not enough bathroom and shower spaces for the amount of people in the hostel. Only two toilets and two showers for I don’t even know how many people. If someone is using one of the showers, that makes one toilets inaccessible. Lastly, they have a Swiss guy who they allow to stay there for extended periods of time on the couch in the upstairs common area. This is a bit strange as he uses the place as his home and goes about like he lives there not being mindful of guests that are sleeping or trying to sleep. When you travel and stay in a dorm, you have a shared awareness of others and he doesn’t possess that because he basically lives there and uses it like so.

The location, the rooftop terrace and the price. It’s a great value for anyone looking to stay in Zurich.

The windows could not open well, so it got really stuffy at night.

Beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean — although you have to put on the sheets yourself. The hostel is right in the old town, so very accessible. Showers were spacious and nice.

Amazing location. Lovely rooftop terrace and views as well. Comfortable and clean rooms. Quiet. Several windows in room. Curtains around beds. Electrical sockets and tables by bed. Free lockers and underbed storage.
