It was a cold night and doona was small on our bed so we froze. This place is tidy clean and no frills.

It was so close to the train stations d an easy walk to the old town and castles when we arrived. Breakfast was adequate and fresh.

Minimal furniture in the room. We had to take a table and a chair from our outside patio to put our suitcase on. Asked for extra pillows and blanket.

Breakfast, location, working staff was friendly, courtesy and all were hard working. Now the front desk person had no personality, abrupt, and had skeleton hours. The pizza parlor next door as another highlight. The owner, Pablo was able to call the property after hours for us for entry. I didn’t receive the hotels email messsge due to area of reception here in Switzerland. He also allowed us to charge our phones as the electrical plugs were not usually Europeans outlets. Also great pizza and service.

The reception didn't open until 3pm. Not good as it was raining.

The breakfast and the room in which it is taken is far superior to the rest of the hotel.

A bit basic in terms of furnishings

The only downfall was that our room was right near the train station and there was a lot of train noise and some construction happening during the day time hours but you just drown it out like the city noise. Not really a hotel downfall.

We booked this hotel last minute as we decided to head south and were pleased with the stay. It was easy to find via driving our car and it was nice to have a free parking spot in the back of the hotel. The room had high ceilings and a balcony which allowed us to see views of the castles. The location was good for walking around downtown. We had the best gelato right down the street at Gelateria Veneta. The night sky view was incredible with our large window/doors. The breakfast the next morning was good too with meats, cheeses, yougurts, breads, etc.

No fans in the rooms, it was incredibly hot and difficult to sleep. The breakfast had no options for gluten-free and dairy-free guests.

Very bad smell in the bathroom. Linen and towels not so clean. Bad insonorisation, there was a lot of noise coming from the hallway.

Location next to the station and the city center. Good view of the castle. Good breakfast.

Parking on the street was 30 mins only at a cost of 1CHF. Parking at the hotel was an extra 10CHF per night.

Bed linen was not fresh with spots from something green. The number is very small with minimum of equipments and belongings.

The hotel location is great, near to Central Railway station and by walk to all Bellinzona attractions. Breakfast buffet is quite enough to be not hungry. In consideration that it's just two stars hotel all was okay for overnight. The view from window was amazing to mountains and one of castles. There is pretty terrace on top floor to take some photos or just look around.

The floor was not clean , shower cabin dirty, mattress and pillows old. I had a huge hole in the middle of mattress. I don’t expect higher facility but Clean should be a must .

There was only 1 power outlet and this was behind the wardrobe which made it very difficult to use without moving the furniture The bathroom had a strong smell from the drains meaning the door had to be kept shut and the bedroom window left open

Beds were not comfortable

Room was clean and spacious. We were 4 adults and it was big enough for us all. Room was clean, quiet, we could not hear the trains. The beds however were not very comfortable, especially not for big men. Loved the breakfast. Reception only opens at 3pm, it wasn’t a problem for us. You can store luggage at station if you arrive early. Staff were very friendly, we also received the Ticino card

30 CHF fee for two cats was quite much especially as according hotel information pets are free of charge. Unfortunately I noticed this too late and I could 't take a risk not to have accomodation at all.

Good location. Located in Bellinzona city center. Very close to hotel there are restaurants and supermarket
