I loved the Free breakfast and friendly staff. My bunk bed was comfortable. On my first night, I had a bad night's sleep as young teenage girls were running around screeching & laughing up to 12.40am. I realise that all residents need to observe quietness from 10.30pm at night time. Also, the shower was cold so that was not ideal.

Great location for travel, and the sea front is only a few minutes away with fantastic views. The only issue is needing a key pass for everywhere you go, including the bathroom.

The receptionist (Sebastian) is so helpful, even we check in during midnight, he still made the process a smooth one! Also having a wide range of choices for breakfast is a bonus!

Some of the facilities were not working (lockers, hot water in shower). The bed was not very comfortable. It was a bit overpriced.

The hostel overall is good. Location is very good, walking distance from the train station. The staff is pretty friendly and helpful.

The 6 bed female room was very spacious and it had a sink and mirror. The breakfast was adequate and included coffee, cereal, yogurt, fruit, juice, and bread, and croissants. The hostel is a short walk to Lake Geneva which was nice.

Access controlled washrooms (not very convenient to take card each time to use it!). Also 3 showers available but only 1 lavatory! Atleast it should have 2 lavatories.

Ice cold water in the shower. WiFi doesn't work everywhere in the building (in some of the rooms not at all). Breakfast is below average quality.

The bathrooms were mostly clean, but the sinks tended to get quite dirty after 9 AM. I’d recommend using them before 8 AM and before 10 PM. One small issue: it would be helpful to be able to re-enter the breakfast area if you forget something in your room or need to use the restroom. I set off an alarm when I tried to go back in. Also, I found a long hair in the Birchermüsli.

I had a great stay! The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean, and the staff was incredibly kind. The lockers are located outside the rooms and had enough space for a small carry-on and a backpack. The location was fantastic, just a three-minute walk to the tram station and only a few minutes from the UN and the train station. The breakfast area was nice, with the same selection served daily, including Birchermüsli. The coffee options were great! The hostel also offers dinner, but it was closed on Sunday. I really liked the small library, it was a cozy spot to read or get some work done. The kitchen area was generally clean, and it was convenient to store and cook food there.

The thing that I thought a lot is a shelf near the bed. There's one very tiny one that fits only the sockets for charging your devices but basically there's no space to keep these devices. For example I wanted to store phone, power bank and a small bottle of water but I could only fit my phone and powerbank. So a wider sheld would be a huge advantage. The bathrooms were fine. Again, no terrible smell, pretty okay, but yeah a bit worn out, however I'd say acceptable.

My room was with 6 beds. The bed sheets were clean, the bed itself was clean, the mattress and pullow were clean, there were no bad smell in the room. The booking also included a public transport ticket for the duration of your stay so you dont have to worry about. The breakfast was magnificent. Truly, one of the best breakfasts that I had in a HOSTEL. It offered a variety of muesli, types of salumi, cheeses and bread. There were various pastries and a large selection of coffee, also juices and milk. I'm sure there was also tea, but tbh I didn't pay attention to it.

Next to the room I stayed there were kids/ teenagers/ group of boys around 13, 14 years old who were extreamly noisy in the evening till very late listening to music and in the morning also started slamming the door from 6am. On the other hand One of he people in the room who arrived very late was on her laptop until 4am and I could not speep at all as she was typing and also using the light. I am very good sleeper usually especially when I am tired but this night I could not sleep at all and I had budy day after so It was pretty annoying and that is why I did not leave 10 stars.

Everything is pretty minimal, dont expect a warm, cosy or social atmosphere as in other hostels. Staff was helpful when asked, but would not proactivly explain or give any kind of information at check-in.

The hostel has a very convenient location close to the lake promenade and in walkable distance to the train station. Breakfast was not overwhelming (coffee was good though), but the fact that its included makes your stay so much more affordable. I liked that the lockers are outside the room, as it minimizes the noise while un/packing. Everything felt clean and safe. Male and female bathrooms are seperate; every shower has a small changing area with hooks and a place for your things, which is great, but still uncomfortable as the water has high pressure and floods everything anyway...
