The room was a little dated and the food selection could have been better, also the TV selections weren’t super, but otherwise good.

Wow, fantastic location and the views of the mountains were stunning! Loved sitting on the balcony in the early morning and watching nature. Very friendly staff and the food was good, although the biggest breakfast didn’t have bacon or other hot foods other than egg.

We got there around 3pm but their reception closes at certain times of the day, so we had to sit around waiting for someone to come so we could check in. Additionally if you left your bags, its at your own risk as there arent anyone to man the area where it is kept. Inspite of this we would stay there again.

The location of this hotel could be a little treacherous for some but I quite liked where it was, perched on a hill. The room was generously sized, clean and the views were spectacular! The breakfast was also quite good and the staff very helpful. We would stay there again.

Perfect location with stunning views! The heated floors were a fantastic touch, making our stay extra cozy. Highly recommend for a comfortable and memorable stay in Grindelwald.

All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating, such a beautiful, clean, well equipped building, beautiful food, great service, stunning views. The children were so thought of in every regard, even down to a small area with toys at breakfast to entertain them while we finished, plastic cups and plates. Our daughter loved Iwona who looked after us both nights, she is a credit to the hotel. We ate in the restaurant. We had cheese fondue the first night and the second night beef stroganoff, carbonate and pizza. Everything was delicious. We would absolutely come back! We were sad to go home. Our son is autistic so it is really important to us that there are good family friendly facilities when we travel to make things that bit easier as it can be a challenge. There were so many little ideas that were so good even down to having a dedicated table for you room number at breakfast each morning. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

We were asked if we wanted to book for dinner before our arrival, said yes, received a confirmation, but when we arrived at the hotel we were told that the restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday.

Only thing is the soap in the bathroom - it was a shampoo/body wash rather than a hand soap.

Our room had a balcony with a great view, it was cosy and nicely heated so it was good to come in from the snow to a warm room. The buffet breakfast was excellent - with a view of the mountain from the breakfast room too. The staff were friendly and check in was very easy. There was a bus that stopped very close to the hotel which was handy for getting to the high street and train station.

Staff was very friendly and helpful with information, great private parking space and easy closeby ski-bus pickup point. we were able to ski right to the lift in the morning. Grat space in the basement

Ambience was great, excellent room, good breakfast and dinner Shuttle service (paid) available in case you face difficulties in going to the train station with luggage (especially in icy conditions when it is slippery)

Long walk or bus from town, but town has a great bus system so wasn’t too bad
