The self service check in failed and i could not enter for an hour. No way to overide without IT helpsek calls

fully functional apartment with a full bathroom + full kitchen, no noises audible from the street (if you close the window), easy checkin, nice restaurants in the area, great value for money

Door key did not work the first time so I called the number listed and was advised to log into the check in system a second time to access a door key that worked. Fridge was not working and despite numerous call and message attempts, no one responded to assist.

Central location in a great area and close to public transport. Room was nice and clean.

I liked that it was clean, not too far from the centre. It was very handy that there was a kettle and a fridge in the room.

The self check in was concerning as it asked for an ID number, took us a while to work out how to skip that stage and gain access. Noise of location - It was quite a noisy street to be near on a Saturday night (at 2am, still intermittently loud cheerful voices outside, from people going home from bars). Also at 7am on Sunday morning I was woken up by the deep bass of loud music nearby, I think a bar was open opposite bizarrely. Distance from train station - The location didn’t suit me for just a stopover after a late train, that was my fault for not realising it was a brisk 40min walk with wheeled luggage, and as we walked at midnight through unknown areas it didn’t always feel safe. Next time I would pay more for a closer hotel room if only staying one night as a stopover. No air conditioning that we could find, quite hot and stuffy (late May, and we are from much colder climes!).

the wifi access code is glued to the wall at a hight of approx 1.85 m (or maybe even higher) on a sticker with the dimension of 1cm*3cm ... at unexpected place. After I contacted the property they replied after almost 24 h. To receive the wifi code by mail (like the access info for the key, or other message I received prior check in) or to deposit the wifi code on the desk is certainly a better solution then a tiny paper at an unusual place

They claim the Wifi password is available in the room. I found none, nor any instructions of any kind. The round the clock help line did not answer when I called them. Thus I didn't know how to do the check-out and give the key back. The electric installation was a mess, if not a potential fire hazard (3 power extension cords plug together for no reason). To top it off, the provided hair dryer (a good surprise) did not work as the fan wasn't turning, providing only heat. Again a fire hazard. You can't sleep with the window open, because the outside noise would be unbearable. Since there is no AC or fan, I was lucky the temperature wasn't too high.

I would have appreciate more attention to details from the property: - the television did not get signal, so could not use it - the light in the big room did not work The first night, I did not mind. What I found not ok, is that despite sending a message around 11 am that these things did not work, when I came back in the evening, none of them where fix and the room has not been made too. Maybe was not clear to me, but I expect the cleaning of the room to be part of why I pay for it.

The property is in a nice location of Zurich, lots. of restaurant and still quite. Walking around is really pleasent since you see a lot of people that leaves around there, enjoying their evening, not a typical tourist place. So, for me, I really like this when I visit a city. The room, is really nice set up. It is not big, but I also did not need one, but has all the things you may need for a couple of nights: a comfortable bed, nice small but clean bathroom, a high table for doing some eating or working. Easy to check in, even if you are not a master IT person.

The room wasn't cleaned well before my arrival. The stairs of the building always smelled of kitchen cooking, I assume on account of the connected restaurant. The address of my confirmed booking was that of the premium apartments. The address I was told to go to was in the street behind it, and not premium of course. I was a bit lost but after calling was directed to the right address.

Self check-in was very easy. The room was nice, I was told I was given an upgrade, which was great. The shower was spacious and the kitchenette was well equipped. The location is also very good, about 10 minutes by tram to the city center.

Arrived on time after a long journey to find two other people trying to get into the building and their accommodation. Those waiting had made several attempts to receive their entry card, one gentleman who had missed his appointment said he had tried several contact points of both management and booking.com but had not been successful. I then went through the procedure and waited for my entry card with no success. After standing outside for over an hour, none of us knew what to do we found a random person who thought he had a contact, thankfully after a phone call we were told someone would be there in another 45 minutes. Finally after waiting for over 90 minutes a man turned up with a handful of plastic cards saying someone had let them run out🤔 I was lucky enough to gain entry unfortunately the other two people had tried so many times they were now blocked and as I headed out to buy food they were still trying to gain access. We have never had an apology or even acknowledge that this occurred from either management or bookin.com who are happy to take your booking then your on your own. Copied for further action.

The apartment was fine but getting into it was the problem.

They have an automatic room booking like a vending machine I was waiting outside calling them and they did not reply I have to book somewhere else. I know that this happened regularly to many if their customers

There was no storage to leave my bags after checkout. Not necessarily an issue but when I tried to ring / message the host on booking no response. I found an emergency number to call who advised there were going to be storage boxes at Zurich HB, which I found. However it's not acceptable hosts don't get back to you when calling / messaging

When I arrived the window in the room was open and the heating was off, so it was cold in the apartment. I’ve left my stuff and went to the city for the whole day. After arriving back late evening I found that the toilet was not cleaned and when I tried to flush water would not go away. The staff was unreachable by phone, the Booking support couldn't find them either. Very nice experience.
