Communication problem. Breakfast buffet is too expensive. Breakfast was not inclusive initially I was told its included. Had to pay 18CHF PP for Breakfast which Had very limited option. Rest everything about stay was good

I like the location and what the hotel offers. It gives also all the towels and hygenic supplies. The vieuw wad nice.They have netflix too. Breakfast was also good

The only thing was a traffic diversion along our street for roadworks which meant it was quite noisy at night. But that was temporary.

Room size was bit too small (no wardroad or place to keep the bags even so bit congested) but we were only staying for night, so fine considering the price tag

Friendly staff - We were late in check in and they went out of the way to accomodate us. Good vibes in hostel, kitchen and common facilities were good. Beds were comfy and room/bathroom was clean.

Parking is public and you need to pay 2e per hour. Reception was not friendly and somehow arrogant. Room was small but coasy.

Check in is closed for some hours during the day, upon your arrival you need to call for someone to assist you. Rooms are small, and the beds are too soft.

They had an Aircon/heating unit in the room but the plug was not the type of electric sockets in the room so it was pointless. The breakfast could include atleast one type of hot dish (even the boiled eggs were very cold).

It was the cheapest hotel I could find in Interlaken on booking.com ... It was good/decent for the price.. cleaning provided with toiletries. The building had an elevator.. basic breakfast included in the price.

The beds were awful and the pillows were so uncomfortable. It’s an old building which makes it very noisy, you can hear the other guests really well also when they run the taps etc which kept us awake. There were only disposable paper cups provided in the room and no spoons.

The staff were lovely and friendly, the location was great and the cleanliness was done to a high standard.

The soap dispencer in the shower was empty and there was no hairdryer. There was an electric kettle and some paper cups, but only coffee and no tea, and not even a spoon, not to speak about hangers for winter overcoats near the door, this is a problem in almost all hotels. All the sounds from the corridor could be heard. The window blinds can only be manipulated from the outside, i.e. when the window is open (in a colder winter this may be somewhat uncomfortable). For 170 euros per night without breakfast, even in Switzerland, I would not expect this type of shortcomings.

This is a centrally located hotel in an art nouveau building (the historic restaurant hall is indeed magnificent). We had a double room on the 2nd floor (accessible by elevator). The room had almost everything we needed, including an electric kettle and heating. The receptionist and her companions are extremely nice and helpful people. They gave us free tickets for the city busses and offered free coffee.

I booked two double room but a bit confused cause the room for my two daughters was bigger and quite spacious. But for me and my husband was quite small and not enough rooms for our stuffs. The toilet was small but it was ok for two people. But in general our stay was good and slept comfortably. Maybe the next time i will stay here i have to make sure that our room is spacious enough.

We stayed for nearly two days with my family, before arriving at the hotel we were lost, so called the hotel Maite the manager and Karim on the reception were sooo helpful in every way, never got tired answering all my calls. We were so late arriving at the hotel but they did their best to welcome us in a very simple gesture and we got the keys. When we arrived on our respective rooms, it was so welcoming seeing our lovely beds. The reception and the dining area were so like an old fashion style way back years but it was very clean and unique in every way. We didn’t get the chance to dine in due to rush hour and soo tired after strolling around. Maite and Karim were sooo helpful, very friendly, and the domestic staff were sooo great, we were all surprised that they left new towels, more toiletries after strolling around all day and tidying up our rooms, with such a lovely welcoming room temperature. If my family would come back to INterlaken definitely would come back here in Hotel Minerva. The price is just right on the budget, perfect location for everything, trains, bus, food and drinks.
