The first night we arrived after the reception was gone and they gave us the wrong room type that was a much lower caliber than what was booked. I called to let them know and see if it could be resolved but the person on the phone did not care and was very rude. However the next morning the staff at the reception were extremely nice and gave us the correct room.

Its an expensive town so having free breakfast was really helped. Plus we had a room with 3 beds which was really hard to find at the time of our booking.

The staff was extremely rude and inconsiderate. I arrived at the hotel at 2:45 and check-in is at 3:00 so they made me wait while in the meantime no one else was there and they were just talking with each other. Not hospitale whatsoever or trying to make you feel welcome. It’s as if they rather you not bother them. During other times of the day no one would be available at the main desk/lobby. The room was alright. It had a portable air conditioning which was really appreciated during the summer days. But the bathroom was very small (you could take one step) and the shower was covered in mold + the toilet seat was made of a very thin plastic.

The hotel is right in the centre of Interlaken making it easily accessible and having tons of options outside (activities, restaurants, stores). It’s about a 20 minute walk from the main station.

Hotel was very dated. The facilities were poor. The shower door did not open from inside so I got stuck in the shower. The room was very hot with an air cont unit to cool but this meant having the patio door wide open. The bed was small and touching the wall so difficult to get in. The walls were thin so could hear every noise from adjacent rooms. I read Google reviews about stolen luggage recently when left so we took ours to the train station when we checked our and used a locker there. Incredibly expensive for a poor stay. Reception isn't open all day so make sure you know the code to get back in.

Breakfast was OK. Location was good to be near the restaurants and paragliding landing. There was a large shower gel in the bathroom. Check in staff friendly and no additional charges.

It was a shoebox attic room. The lift doesn’t go to the floor, you have to walk up to the floor. My back is sore from bending, to not hit the roof. Not well cleaned. The air conditioning didn’t work. An old bedside light was exposed.

Location good. Sitting in the guest room with facilities for a cuppa were good.

Proper airconditioning could have made a difference along with the noise generated from the nearby carpark espescially around 2 am each morning it was deafening.
