Good location, central, very close to the bus stop. The restaurant was nice, the dinner tasty, service good. Breakfast was also tasty, amazing selection of local cheese. It was summer, so I really appreciated, that all the fresh fruit and meat was covered and protected from insects, if there were any. The room was quite spacious, the bathroom and room git quite nice face-lift. The view from balcony was amazing, facing the Toggenburg valley.

Bar closed on Sunday and Monday night. This meant that we couldn't use the pool table.....felt a little sad as we booked the hotel so that our teenager could play pool/darts in the evening. We didn't need a drink but would have liked to use the facilities (we were happy to pay). No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We missed this!

Great hotel. Most staff were wonderful. Facilities were incredible. Electric bikes were brilliant. Restaurants lovely. Spa gorgeous. Breakfast delicious.

There is nothing that I did not like.

Room was newly refurbished, stylish. Beds were comfortable and bathroom nicely designed. Bedroom and bathroom exceptionally clean. The SPA area is great, with a heated pool, water jets and sauna. In-hotel restaurants are pricey, but the food was excellent. Breakfast was included and the spread ranges from cereals and fresh fruit / yoghurt to cold meats, a huge cheese selection, and eggs made to order. The hotel location and views are superb.

Some parts could do with modernising but mostly fabulous.

The wellness area is incredible and our basic level room was just right. I was worried about the customer service we would receive after reading previous reviews, but the staff were very warm and welcoming and we felt well looked after!!

The room should be renovated a bit. A transparent bathroom without a door is not a good idea. Because of the humidity, the fan ran all night and wouldn't turn off.

The check in was really easy and friendly. The room was clean and the size was as expected. The breakfast was more than normal with a great choice of cheese and quite a friendly waiter. In the Hotel are 2 different restaurants. One thai restaurant and also a local menu restaurant. Both have a great menu card and atmosphare. So all in all I can't complain anything.

Pillows were not comfortable and there was a blood stain on mine. Reception was closed when we arrived so we had to figure out how we get our key for 40 minutes.

With temp's above 28 degC, made rooms too warm at night and no ventilator nor air conditioning in the room and opening the windows at night gave flies in the rooms. Low cost, low energy screen solutions might help? No hair dryer standard in the room but it can be asked at the reception if one is available (over 20, but sometimes not) Very loud speaking local villagers with shouting kids during diner in the (Stube?) restaurant, which does have a cozy family atmos, but it made a conversation during diner at our table impossible. We fled to the bar, but that group followed: unlucky event. The price in the Stube restaurant was on the high side and the variety of choice low. But, there are other alternatives nearby. Only 1 pillow present, which gets compressed too thin during the night is not to our taste and makes sitting up with the back against the bedboard not comfi.

The location in a nice pitoresque village Wildhaus of this luxurious hotel, with nice mountain view and occasionaly cows guided through the street, early morning. A coincidentally dutch speaking receptionist with info on discounts for the bergbahnen also valid in Unterwasser. Swimming pool and sauna in the hotel (although we did not use because of high summer temperature) and the good quality restaurants inside the hotel, especially the Thai restaurant was for us a surprise, presence and high quality. The breakfast was great with a great variety of local Swiss cheese products (you can buy to take home), maybe good to cover against some flies, during hot summer?

DON'T RELY ON Booking.com - they claimed that the massage service would be open during my stay and also have bathtub in my room. Turns out neither was available for my stay. Also, there was no room phones/landlines (i.e. no room service but yeah I don't remember this being promised on Booking.com)

The Thai restaurant of the hotel can be a savior for those who don't go well with swiss food!

our room was quite hot- it is quite common in these places to have no air conditioning. But in a newer building, like the one we were in, you could expect windows that can be fixed in an inclined position to allow for some fresh air, with also a net to prevent insects

They have a problem with flies. I understand, that it is a rather rural location but I also live in the country side and I find something should be done about the flies. They do disturb while dining. The pool was rather cold for my point of view. The staff at the front desk was not very friendly at first but when she caught herself she was fine. I have not received an answer to my questions I messaged via booking in advance which I find not great guest service.

The room was absolutely splendid. Very nice and clean. Comfortable bed, stylish interior and decor. I liked the pool but unfortunately the sauna was broken but there was a small infrared sauna, that could be used. I was a bit sad at first, that the actual sauna was broken as I went to this place for the spa but it was fine after all. The staff at the restaurant was most forthcoming and they did a great job and they were mostly very attentive, too. The vegan food was delicious, I'd never eaten such good veggies. I also liked the dishes.

Sauna area is very small and unfortunately only the infrared cabin was in use. The wellness includes an indoor pool, which is ideal for children.

Very friendly staff and great location. Thai restaurant operating within the property is very good and recommended if you like spicy food (value for money however at a price!) Very good breakfast with great choice of local cheese.

Our room was directly on the main road. The balcony is very old (the woodwork could use some upgrading). Nice views of the mountains but you have to take into account the noise of the cars.

Modern (renovated) room in a traditional building, nicely furnished. The hotel itself though is a bit outdated. Excellent breakfast. If you require a wheelchair-accessible room, make sure you request one because the hotel only has 4 available. Due to an elevator being broken, we could not get to the room we originally booked, and got the suite instead :-) Very friendly staff.

"Peaceful rooms, impeccably clean. We stayed in a recently renovated room with courteous staff and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast. The indoor swimming pool was a nice touch, although I would have preferred the water a tad warmer. There's also a small playground for babies. However, the elevator lacks a protective door during operation, and the beds are not the longest; they might be too short for individuals over 1.90m. Additionally, there are no blinds on the large windows, only curtains, and no refrigerator in the room. Access to skiing requires a car or bus. Overall, everything was satisfactory, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

We planned to enjoy spa but the water temperature was not hot enough.. 32-33degree. In winter time I hope they change the temperature . Additionally even 4 stars they do not have small fridge, Electric pot(no coffee or tea) and safety box. Sustainability is very important but i hope hotel will consider some point too.

The staffs are very friendly and room was clean.
