Hot food for breakfast would be great, especially for indian visitors. Except that there is no complaint or dislike. We really enjoyed the food there.

The staff at the hotel were really friendly. Especially Christie and Laura, they were really welcoming and helpful. I would definitely visit hotel hirschen again. Great place

Staff in hotel hirschen are friendly. Every morning nice lady welcomed us for breakfast and brought us gluten free bread. Breakfast was delicious. Everything you need to start your day. I higly recommed.

There was no electric water heater in the room.

Plenty of options for breakfast with the staff helping out pleasantly. The room was very spacious and clean. We got an incredible view from the room. The location was perfect; restaurants were very close by and everything was within walking distance. We enjoyed our time at this location and hopefully come back again as well.

Location is perfect - walking distance to the station and restaurants. Our room was spacious and clean, absolutely stunning Mountain view. Reception and breakfast staff are so helpful and very lovely - they made our stay extra enjoyable. Can't fault anything – will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you!

The sliding door to the toilet? It was a bit difficult to open sometimes. Also, maybe include other features in the room like a candle, just to make the atmosphere more romantic.

The breakfast was lovely and the staff were always ensuring we had enough to eat and drink! We stayed in the love room and it was incredible. It was so spacious and a great layout, the beds were comfortable, the bath was just what we needed after a few days of long walks and they provided us with bath salts! The balcony had beautiful views and was really spacious. We also tried the sauna and foot bath for only 15chf each and we had the place to ourselves, it felt like we had a private session! Overall it exceeded our expectations and the staff were so helpful with our questions and making our stay the best it could be. I will recommend this to everyone staying there!

great location in the center of Grindalwald. The hotel also offered discounts for local attractions as well. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Parking at location for a good price!

One of the staff was pretty ignorant. For one example, we asked her for some ice cube and she said no right away, then the next day we asked the other staff who was kind enough and offered to look for us and actually gave some ice cubes. I’ve seen some reviews about the staff situation and couldn’t believe it’s true, quite disappointing considering the high prices for the rooms.

None! Everything was great!

Breakfast buffet has a great selection. They even have a vegetable/fruit juicer. Breakfast staff has been very accommodating. Kristine on the front desk is quite cheerful and helpful. She even helped us with our large luggage and delivered our request for extra pillows.

Reception hours and breakfast could have been earlier as I needed to be on the first lift for the ski tour. I also incurred the wrath of the restaurant manager depositing my bag behind the reception desk, evidentially a faux Pas. I was only trying to be helpful as she was busy attending guests. But my good intentions were lost in translation.

The reception staff were excellent, looking after a bag for me while I went for a week ski touring. Excellent selection of food at breakfast.
