Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyThis room for 4 persons is very congested and I will say this is not suitable for 4 people’s. There is no space to move around in the room and everything is connected to each other. Bathroom is small and not suitable for ladies. To move around in bathroom is difficult. Taking a bath is really a tough task. No parking available, no free and paid parking provided.
The location was great and staff were supportive.

United StatesThe place was not that easy to find, given that there is no sign outside and it doesn't look like a hotel. And you have to wait till someone to come for check in, and go to another hotel if you want to store your luggage. The hotel is just a few rooms in a building. No front desk. Room-facility-wise, there was no paper towel / tissue or hand towel. Just one towel per person. And no private bathroom or mirror in the room. Even though the local is good, I think almost 150 CHF for the stay is still too expensive in my opinioin.
It is at a great location. Bed is comfortable.

Czech RepublicDuring the booking, they say that there are parking spaces, which is not true. When we asked a parking space at different hotel was offered for 15 CHF per night. There was quite a lot of noise. The building was not secured and during the day the doors were nonstop open, which made me feel a bit unsafe.
The location is nicely at the center of Interlaken, close to restaurants and the river connection two lakes. The room was clean with a fresh towels and a kettle.

QatarThe whole set up is not what I was expecting. Basically rooms rented out in a big house. It worked fine but was not what I thought I had booked. Given the price I paid it is very expensive for what you actually get. The lodge had only one bathroom - one shower and one toilet - for those with shared rooms. This caused issues mostly in the evening when you wanted to use it. There is a large kitchen available for use which was kept very clean by those of us staying there. There were no staff around at all - the place is just bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. To check in you called the intercom on the front door and a guy arrived on a scooter. That was the last time we saw anyone working in the lodge.
The location of the lodge is great - just away from the main street between East and West Interlaken stations. Easy to get around, find restaurants, supermarket, and meant is was a quiet stay. Beds were very comfortable and had very soft linen. Wifi worked well.

LatviaThough all the staff were very nice except the big guy who came to collect city tax, He tried to do a financial scam with me to steal money. He does not know how to talk and behave with customers. He is destroying not only the image of lodge but also the image of country. Only because of him I am downgrading the rating by one. Other point is they do not change the bed sheets in any situation during your stay. You have to use dirty bed sheets.
The location of lodge is easily accessible by public transport. Considering the price it is a fine place to stay.

SwitzerlandThe staff called us to learn when we were arriving and we told them at 5 pm. But when we arrived the staff was not finished with cleaning the room and there were a lot of garbages at the entrance of the hotel which didn’t made a great impression.

Czech RepublicMy interaction with property manager Linda was not pleasant. The property is very strict in implementing the Check-in time i.e., 1600hrs, however, when I checked in the floor was not properly cleaned and had dirt/muck sticking out of every corner and edge. I would request that if the property timings are so strict, so should be the cleaning.
