Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CyprusStaff was inexistent. Room was too small. Furniture was basic. Shower was miniature. No breakfast was included or offered. Check-in was made in another hotel in the morning and actual check-in took place at 4.00pm (whereas check-out was required at 10.30am)!! Quality-price ratio was clearly negative. In general, it was a bad experience. This is not a hotel; it's more like a youth hostel.
Location was very good. Price was relatively low for Interlaken on the specific date (1st August - Swiss National Day).

United StatesThe room was not cleaned when we first got in. We had to walk across town to the other hotel that was staffed to ask them to clean the room. Even after asking to have the room cleaned, there was still hair in the shower, and on the bathroom door handle. Additionally, I was unaware we were given a room in the attic with a low ceiling. I think it was the smallest room they had, so it's probably not an issue other than for tall guest that stay in that specific room. A warning during booking, or the ability to reserve a room with a taller ceiling would have been appreciated. Overall had the room been cleaned, and someone's hair was all over the bathroom it probably would have been fine.

PortugalNot recommendable. There was no wi-fi, the toilet was dirty and even the curtains were stained. We paid about the same as several other hotels where we stayed in other cities, and this was much worse.
Reasonable location is the only saving grace.
