How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

pillows are not as fluffy... would prefer an adjustable dimming lighting than the blue light... breakfast was very nasic bitfair offering for the price..
it was exceptionally clean.. basic toiletries on hand.. adored the toilet seat, just pwrfect! comfy bed.. enough space... free flowing coffee, tea, water and a bit of snacks were definitely a welcome treat

Though near the airport as well as the train station (Rumlang station is walkable distance) it is still away from the buzz of a city with limited restaurants / shops if you wish to hang around. Breakfast could be with some more variety
The staff at the hotel were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Quiet place, well insulated rooms though near the airport. Ample parking if you are driving. Rooms were neat and clean.

Way too expensive. Empty gel shower and shampoo. Shower doors broken - they don’t close. I asked for one double bed but there were two beds.
Delicious breakfast. Free tickets for public bus to the airport.

The hotel was only 30 minutes from Zurich city center, but traffic was very bad, making the commute to the center more than an hour, both ways, in the afternoon. A huge tour group was in the hotel and made breakfast a bit crazy and crowded.
Clean and comfortable room, a huge bed, and great WiFi. Parking was very convenient and access to the property from the airport was easy. Breakfast was very good.

The pillows way too soft, the corridors were not vacuumed seemingly for a long time

Breakfast was very messy, there wasn't much space to sit, and you needed to clean up your own table. There wasn't much choice of what to eat, there wasn't any warm food except for boiled eggs, but the bread and coffee were really good.
Very modern and confortable, check in and check out were very fast and efficient. The location is great if you are looking to stay near the airport, and allthough it is close to the airport you don't hear any noise from it.

Parking spots are not very clean.
Easy to transport from the airport and very close to train station. The hotel is very clean and modern. Free snacks and coffee all day too.

It had nothing to do with the hotel but we were quite hot and no A/C.. unusual weather for Zurich..
Great breakfast. Having coffee available all day was awesome! Also the cookies and fruit left out for hungry travelers really was a huge help to foreigners who didn't know how to get around.

Small rooms, no fridge. It is what it is - great for one night when flying out the next day but I wouldn't want to spend multiple nights. Staff were ok, neither great nor bad.
Airport shuttle. Location is great for the night before you fly out. Good value. Free WiFi. Comfortable beds.

Rude Staff, not friendly!
clean and very close to Train station. Charged shuttle CHF10/per. Be sure you know where is the shuttle meeting & pick up location, we almost missed the shuttle, because the staff didn't tell us where is the pickup location, and there is no sign for that. No people working at the front desk in the early morning.
