Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandThere were a couple of issues for us. The self check in did not work so we were directed by the café staff to a sister hotel one block away to get a keycard. It is very close so not a big deal. Unfortunately when we returned and accessed our room we realized it was the wrong one, as we had paid for an upgrade to a larger room the week before (when suggested to by booking.com). So I returned again to the hotel down the street for assistance. Perhaps there was a communication breakdown between booking.com and the hotel as it was not clear to the hotel staff that our room had been upgraded. The lady I dealt with at the sister hotel was very pleasant to deal with and I cannot fault her, she was doing her job and doing it well. I make this comment just to point out that it is inconvenient for the guest to have to go twice to another location to resolve an issue that perhaps could have been avoided in the first place. Once we were in the correct room we were mostly very happy with our stay, hence 7/10. However the coffee machine could not be used as when we removed the water container to fill it, we noticed a leak, which had already had an attempt at being fixed with what looked like some sort of gum or filler (?) So we decided best not to risk using it. The other issue was that the toilet door did not close at all . The door is one on a track that slides away into the wall and it just would not budge from inside the wall. Thankfully the room was big enough, and we know each other long enough(!), that we could manage for one night but it is less than ideal for 2 people sharing a room to have no toilet privacy. If I hadn't already gone to the sister hotel twice that day just to get into the right room, I may have returned to mention about the toilet door and coffee machine. But I was tired from travelling and decided that as long as we had a comfortable bed to sleep in, which we did, the other things could be marked and 'unfortunate but not necessary'.
The bed was super comfortable, the room had a tv with lots of stations and a nice balcony. The room was modern and spacious. The hairdryer was really good quality which was a very welcome surprise when travelling! Everything was clean and very well decorated. Shower gels, shampoos etc are provided as well as towels. The staff in the café below were very pleasant to deal with. It is in a very convenient location close to the train station and overall I found it good value for Zurich. There are some grocery stores nearby and some good restaurants and bars within walking distance. The neighborhood felt safe and was quiet. We experienced 3 minor issues - check in complications/broken toilet door/coffee machine leak which I detail in the negative box, so it wasn't a perfect stay but overall was still very good.

Location is great, close to the railway station and just 10-15mins to the city center by foot. Rooms are tidy and the hotel is really quiet and peaceful. The cafe on a ground floor is very good one and Coop supermarket in 1 minute.

Location was great, only a few minutes away from Zurich HB, very central. Absolutely love the Molton Brown bathroom amenities.
