How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Room cleaning is not done on daily basis within the tariff rates. We found the breakfast a bit steep.
Modern and new property. Close to Tram station (200m short walk) and also large convenience stores.

The room was quite dusty and was quite small, as was the bed. The reception is all 'self-serve' - there were some staff there but it feels like you are 'discouraged' from speaking to them. I don't know how long the staff are in the office.
The studio aspect of the hotel is very useful as it allows you to make an easy meal - there are pans, plates etc but not much space so you can't make a gourmet 3-course meal. It's in a good location to get to the centre of Zurich on the tram, and there are supermarkets nearby.

There was an issue with the toilet, it didn’t seem to flush properly and required multiple attempts.
Liked the equipment on offer in the suite.

that there is no reception with real people! only machines that you had to pay 30€ for the carpark over night and that there were not really optional parking spots outside.

This hotel has a few buildings which shares the same name. And I got confused regarding the location and accidentally went to the wrong one.
Very convenient place ~ close to bus stops.

Everything was great just that there are no phones in the room, if you need something you cannot contact the staff. It’s self check in and out which is great and impressive but there’s no staff even at the reception. Also no information about the wifi in the room, we kept searching ..

The self check-in as an idea is a good one. However it should be backed up by clear instruction and information. E.g. no info on how to access the wifi, no pencil to write down the room number, no info on the breakfast, etc.

Long corridor to walk when requested for a quiet room. It’s a little far from the main train station. About 25 min tram ride.
There is a small kitchen where we can buy food from the supermarket next door to heat up with the microwave. This is a bonus as there is not many eating place around. There is also a laundry room where you can use with a small fee. The tram station is just a 5 min walk from the hotel. Room is Cosy and nice.

Matress was so soft which caused bachache! The bed was just 140cm! No slipper.

Public transport and grocery stores handy. Tram 10 is frequent and only 10 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Zurich main station.

The lighting in the room was limited and the main space didn't have any bright lights for the whole room, so it was pretty dark when I came in at night - I would have liked more light.
The bathroom was very spacious which was nice.

The things that I didn't like are: 1- there wasn't enough tissue for the toilet during our stay and no tissue in the room and for the kitchen as well And the breakfast price is over!

The AC wasn't cooling properly, also there was someone in the lobby who was disturbing, probably it was one of the tourists staying there, also the staff wasn't very humble and polite.
The location was good, nearby a supermarket and walking distance from the tram station. They also agreed to hold luggage after check-out.

We attended a music festival which was in walking distance so the location was perfect for us. Close to the tram to get into the city. Easy check in process and staff we very helpful
