Room was relatively nice, pretty standard as expected though as was the cheaper option. Shower wasn’t quite tall enough for me.

View was 10/10 with lovely balcony. Staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was nice.

Ski room has no space for ski boots, you need to take them to your room.

No kettle in the room. There was easy access to one downstairs but you'd need your own teabags etc

Comfortable room and bed. Of four hotels I stayed in and notified I was vegan, this was the only one to reply and they brought in soya yoghurt and milk especially and there was dairy free spread anyway. This made breakfast more balanced for me. The views from our room and the breakfast bar are stunning. There is traffic noise, but you would get that in most places in Grindelwald and it was quiet by later evening anyway so it isn't a problem

There was very little to dislike. At a push I'd say not having the option of toast!

Room was on the top floor hence the view was stunning. Breakfast was good, we ordered eggs to add to the breakfast. As mentioned before, a toaster would have been nice.

The location of the hotel does not lie when it says 5 mins walk but during winter it becomes quite a steep 10-15 mins walk in the snow with your luggage which is specially difficult while going uphill. Also, I think the room looks bigger in picture that it actually is.

The Room was not bad, it was medium sized. The bathroom was okay. Best part of the room was the balcony and the views of the majestic mountain in front of us without any block. The breakfast was also nice but lacked egg dishes which was weird. We were there for 1 night only, so it was okay for us.

There is no elevator so going up to rooms (ours was on the top floor) became a struggle. There was also only 1 laundry machine, which was not operational 24/7. It would’ve been less hassle if we were able to do our laundry after a day full of activities.

No elevator

The view from the hotel is beautiful. Near train station and just walking distance to go to First Cliff cable car station. Room are comfortable and feel like home. Breakfast quite good, surprisingly they have rice for breakfast. They have washing machine and dryer with small fee.

Facilities such as bathroom are old but spotless so that isn't really a complaint.

Spotless room and facilities, breakfast was great actually better than expected including fresh veggies which is not always the case in Swiss hotels, at least those around that price range.

No kettle in the room so had to go down for tees etc. Bathroom had a drain smell which I had to deal with by running tap/shower for a few mins and ask staff for air freshener. This should be done before guests arrive.

Very thin celling and walls, we could hear people walking above us.

Very nice room with a mountain view. Balcony at the front ,comfortable bed. The staff is very nice and helpful. There are a lot of spaces to park the car. Short walk from the centre and train station.

The breakfast is adequate, and there are plenty of hot menu items. The view from the restaurant is fantastic! The location is near the central train station, which is only a 10-minute walk at a slow pace. The view from our room is also amazing! It's the mountain.

Just reminder: no private washroom. The location is lovely but a little far from HB. Staff is nice. But the check-in/out time is not very friendly
