How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Lack of flexibility for a 1 hour late check out to accommodate a confidential teleconference that had to be taken in the public lobby. while all other services were fine, given the size of the hotel and the time for the check in for new guests, this small flexibility could have been accommodated by simply cleaning the room one hour later … still 2 hours before new guests check in!
Strength of wifi signal good for teleconferencing, etc.

You have to pay CH 4 to get a pair of slippers
The staff were so friendly and helpful. The furniture is classic "love it", and the bed is super comfy. The room is spacious and clean.

Size of the room. Super small with lots of furniture. No space to apen your 30kg luggage. I have to put on the top of the bed.

The only drawback was that there was some dust in the heaters. Cleaning was OK overall but could be better.
This is a beautiful small hotel located near the main railroad station. It's on the side quiet road and the rooms have some insulation, so they are very quiet. The staff is very friendly and helped us a lot. The rooms is wonderfully decorated and spacious with a huge bed and bathroom.

would be good if they provided more hangers. the shower screen is only half so water tends to spray out.
I liked that the hotel was clean. it was easy to get to with luggage as well. we could check in early and leave our luggages there even after we checked out. kettle was provided, as well as sufficient chairs and other places to put our things and open the luggage. bed was comfortable. the price of the room is also very affordable given the standard of the hotel

It was such a convenient location close to the train station and Christmas Market. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great room in terms if size, comfort and shower amenities. Charlotte at the reception was extremely helpful. Loved that they had a business center for me to check my email regarding my outgoing flight. Such a great hotel to Stay in. The room was very quiet.

I would have liked to have an iron in the room as I was on a business trip. The windows are a bit thin to block the noise from the street.
The rooms are very comfortable and spacious with good amenities (water boiler, tea, coffee, hair dryer etc). Breakfast was very good with great coffee. The staff was exceptionally friendly and supportive to answer to all my questions and solve some minor issues. I can definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again!

There was a distinct odor inside the room when we first entered. Also, the hot and cold knobs in the shower are confusing that it almost got me burned.
Staff are friendly and very helpful. They also give information about the weather forecast. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is close to city center and main train station. It's just a stone's throw away to a tram stop. There's a lot of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

Good, central location - walkable in 5 mins to Cornavin Station. Free public travel pass for stay was very useful. Room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was good - simple but tasty.
