Good location, room served its purpose (and the size was ok for one night, everything worked). Good breakfast with a good selection. Very nice staff + late check-in was possible.

United KingdomBrilliant location.We had a lovely room with snow capped mountain view from all directions.The staff were very friendly and helpful and guided us on the right bus to go up the mountains. The breakfast was freshly cooked for you as well as continental.The beds were very comfy. The location in Lenk down a valley,access by local train, is a little gem.Besides the train ,there are 5 buses running a frequent service up in to the mountain to waterfalls,chalets restaurants,and many walks.We wish we could have stayed longer. We ate each night in the hotel restaurant where the choose of food was good and all freshly cooked.

United KingdomThe toilet pipes are all interconnected so the WHOLE night you can hear every toilet flushing! The hearing got turned off ( I’m guessing to save money and cutting corners) For what it it and what the hotel has to offer, the establishment is extremely expensive.

NetherlandsBreakfast claims 3 star but with exactly 1 hot dish (boiled eggs) is closer to 2 stars. Same for the rooms, we had one with balcony; 20 square meters as advertised, but a really crammed bathroom with too small tub and lots of broken things. Like a showerhead that sprays 360' around and a broken WC seat. Beds are a bit comfy but on the low side, and again the crammed space makes it hard to access them; moreover we needed to leave the window open for ventilation which meant hearing the loud church bell every hour. Why they dare to book this (room with balcony) for over 200 francs in June when comparable accommodation in nearby Kandersteg or Adelboden asks 150 is beyond logic. It is 2 stars not 3, and without major refurb only attractive for tour groups (at a discounted rate).
Picked the hotel based on reviews, and because we wanted to revisit the Lenk-Zweisimmen area where we'd stayed before. About the sole positive points are the friendly staff, and the central location in town. Pool is okay but quite gloomy in the setup, and some maintenance issues. And dinner restaurant had a good menu and decent prices.
