Very historic environment, nice individualized rooms. They gave me an upgrade to a real suite without me asking for it.

There was an large attractive smokers lounge by the reception and restaurant - the only equivalent for non-smokers was tucked away on the first floor and less appealing. Hotel seems more like 3* then 4*.

Nice local hotel. Great location right in the heart of the old town and walkable to everything. Nice touches, like vouchers for a free welcome cocktail in the trendy Atelier Bar across the street. I asked in advance for gluten free options at breakfast and they were delivered to our table without me asking in the morning - I was impressed. Good value.

Great stay in Thun

Great room, very spacious. In old town close to the castle. Walking distance to the train station. The staff were helpful and spoke English.

We’ve been upgraded to junior suite overlooking city central plaza - it was like living in a fairytale! Literally! Room is huge, renovated, with all possible amenities including steam shower. Super clean and comfortable! Great breakfast too. Very helpful staff and super central location.

Nothing really. Our only disappointment was the lack of communication regarding the opening times of the restaurant over the Christmas period and the lack of opening of the Roof Top bar and the Fondue restaurant

A bar where guests could relax with a drink would be nice, I was quite surprised to be told on check-in that there wasn’t a one as in my experience this is something that all hotels provide.

Everything about the hotel was what we expected, we have visited this hotel previously on a number of occasions.

The ventilation system was shut down, and locked out of use, NO VENTILATION… The operable window provided some ventilation, however, it opened to the front of the building where a bar and restaurant provided patrons outdoor service and seating until 1:00am in the morning. We listened to loud people drinking, laughing, and singing. We paid full price for a room with no ventilation and had to make the choice of disruptive noise or ventilation from an open window.

Very nice location overlooking the town hall square. A pleasant room with a comfortable bed with good en-suite and shower. Helpful and friendly staff. Very good breakfast and evening meal in the grill restaurant.

The breakfast was not what I would call continental. Everyday for the entire week was the same. No variety.
