There are no resturants or grocery stores near the hotel. You will have to take the train to find somewhere. No breakfast was served.

Rooms are comparatively small than most of our stay in Swiss but the helper/staff Ren was amazing and very helpful

The beds were thin and of low quality . The rooms heat was supplied by radiators that could be controlled by guests in their room.First warm day the owner shut the system off, to save a buck I assume. Reneta to the rescue with a space heater!

View, location, and staff were excellent. Especially Reneta! She made us feel at home.

The view from the room is breathtaking. A few steps away from public transportation. Close to Interlaken Ost city. Free breakfast was a nice bonus. The staff were very respectful, polite, and helpful.

A couple of things! 1- Stains on wooden floor and some spiderwebs in the balcony ceiling & door. 2- Balcony door handle was flimsy and got stuck so couldn’t close the door and had to put a chair to keep the door closed during 1st night. Next day the staff fixed it. 3- They have GREEN towels and gave only bath towels(no hand towels). May be it is a budget hotel so that’s why. 4- Bathroom tap mixer doesn’t work properly, very difficult to balance hot and cold water. 5- Hotel is located in Niederried, which is 10 mins drive from Interlaken OST but the bus frequency is less (EVERY 1 HOUR). Clearly this hotel needs rooms renovation if the condition is same in other rooms. Ours was 204. Breakfast is decent i would say so no complaint on that. But pease note, they don’t have dinner facilities so make you own arrangements as there are no grocery stores/restaurants nearby (nearest is in Interlaken OST). The only USP is the hotel view I guess. For this price, you can’t get a better placed in terms of view.

The view from balcony is amazing. You get full view of the Brienz Lake. Staff & overall services were also good. One good thing regards to amenities I want to mention is a UK socket. We weren’t aware that Switzerland has different socket than EU but our room had a UK socket which was amazing!!

Pillows were not comfortable. Breakfast was pretty lacking with what tasted like 2 day old croissants and very few options; a shame considering we got some of the best yogurt we have ever had from a grocery store the next village over.

Hotel is the best in the region at this price point! rooms were comfortable, staff was VERY friendly, location, view, and access to the public beach, pier, and train station were top notch!

Very thin walls and you could hear the neighbors from the other rooms. There isn't any aircon, so the only way to cool the room is to leave the window open. They have a cheap mosquito net installed only on a small window. They should make an effort and install a proper one both on the balcony door and the window. The breakfast was ok, but shame they don't include any local cheese assortments. The village in which the hotel is located doesn't have any shops and only has a restaurant that closes early and isn't opened on the weekends. So you must buy groceries from Interlaken. There isn't a miny fridge in the room. The only way to store things cool is in the shared kitchen downstairs which unfortunately only has a small fridge compared to the capacity of the hotel. They should install at least 2-3 refrigerators, that way you won't have people touching and moving your food.

The view was great and location was very convenient right at the bus stop. However, bear in mind that there are trains (now just buses due to the storm) to Interlaken but they run just once an hour. The room was clean, the water pressure was good and the wifi was ok. There is only one restaurant in the village, but the food and vibe are awesome, really recommend it.

The hotel is located outside the interlaken Ost and there os very few buses going there. If you want to go by taxi they will charge you 50 CHF, if by bus the hotel gave you a free ticket during your stay there.

The view was breathtaking, the room has a balcony viewed on the lake. The breakfast was nice, the staff were very helpful and speaking English. I recommend this hotel if you have a car!

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Special commendation for Renata and Sonu. Breakfast was good. Location was excellent as very close to station that brought us to Interlaken where we connected to the various sites. View of Lake Brienz is spectacular

No cafe/restaurants in the area so had to eat dinner in Interlaken or Brienz or buy snacks in the supermarket to eat in the hotel in the evening. Sitting on the balcony was spoiled by neighbours smoking, same at night when we kept the doors open to get some fresh air. Would be great idea to have it as non-smoking hotel.

Amazing hotel in the great location. We had access to the trains and the boat (2 mins walk to both) which helped us to travel around the area easily. Good size room with breathtaking vew from the balcony, cozy beds and a great shower/bath. Had a kettle and an electric fan which we used a lot. Team was very friendly, continental breakfast was good and also had a decent cofee machine. Freshly baked croissants made it feel special. Hotel has communal kitchen and the fridge for guests which was very useful.
