the location of the hotel is very strategic and practical and near from all services and adjacent to the train station overall it is perfect to explore zurich from it in such short time.

I didn't like the steps leading up to the reception. I initially thought the elevator was on the ground level. It was difficult to maneuver large bags up the steps. The next morning, I found out there was a bucket entrance with only two steps. That made things easier.

The location. It was easy access to the Zurich HB train station 🚉. It's across the bridge and across the street. The bed was very comfortable. And the bathroom was large. The room was exceptionally clean. And very quiet 🤫.

Stairs at entrance to the “lobby “. Not much of a lobby. Travel partner was put in a different building. Shower was not usable. No water flow from shower head. Trouble reported but never repaired.

- Curtain was thin and not "blackout", hence some streetlights were flooding into the room overnight.

- Check in was smooth at around 23:30 and the reception staff were very friendly. - Room was well furnished & clean and the bedding was of good quality. - Tea is available from a communal area. - Bathroom was good.

Bathroom was very small. Also, about 10 steps to reach the lobby. Then there was an elevator to the rooms. 😅

If you're a light sleeper, you may notice an audible HVAC-type sound coming from roof area which was close to my 5th floor room. Not noticeable during the day but definitely at night. Maybe not all rooms are affected depending on location.

Historic but modern hotel located within walking distance of HB railway station and old town. The top-floor dormer room was cozy with a very comfortable bed, desk, good lighting, and a sitting bench. The bathroom had quality towels and soap amenities. The included breakfast was a selection of savory/sweet items and beverages. Staff members were friendly and efficient.

Nice hotel, clean and functional. Rooms are basic but nicely decorated, to include everything needed for a short stay. The location is perfect for easy access to the train station. The old town is also right behind it and all main city attractions are within a short walk. The restaurant on the ground floor is definitely recommended: nice atmosphere and good food, especially the desserts! Overall we had a good stay.

I booked for double bed but indeed up 2 single bed put together and during the night both bed gets separated, so there was a gap between me and my husband..

No tea/coffee facility or fridge in room . Tea and coffee available in the hall of hotel.

The best thing about hotel limmathof is the location near the main train station and right on beside the central tram stop. Not the most luxurious hotel, quiet basic , but clean and comfortable. Good value for money as hotels in Zurich are pretty expensive. We would definitely return to this hotel.

No hot water kettle in room, no coffee fork, spoon. Booking.com said locker avail but no locker.

Very clean and proximity to all locations.very friendly chef who made it a point and come and ask for coffee, offer fresh bakes, hum joyfully.
