The property is just next to the train line and is not that sound proof hence whenever a train crosses (every 15 mins) you get to hear that inside the room which makes it more difficult for a person to sleep. Moreover, there was a weird smell in the corridor.

I had a wonderful stay at Meininger Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all my needs were met. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and the amenities, especially the pool and restaurant, were top-notch. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious experience. I look forward to staying here again.

We stayed 4 nights and had no WiFi until a day before we checked out. It was inconvenient to plan anything as our roaming wasn't working and we weren't familiar with the place. When I went to ask the receptionist staff he was very defensive. We then had to buy the train ticket to Zurich main station to get the SIM card. When you are in a new place the only thing you rely on is the internet nowadays and for us it was a great let down. Other then that the stay wasn't bad

Hallways and elevator area seemed a bit tired… could use a fresh paint of coat maybe.

I liked that the property was clean, the staff was helpful, the beds were comfortable. It was so nice to have breakfast available. The overall cost was a good value. Also, the light in the bathroom wouldn’t turn on and staff couldn’t fix it, so he gave us free breakfast, which was appreciated.

The room had no electric kettle and weird type J sockets (only works for charging the phone) so we were not able to plugin ours either.

We could hear the neighbors and the walls are thin—this contributed to trouble sleeping.

The staff was very friendly and having bunk beds is a plus in the rooms! We were happy to have at least some form of air conditioning.

It was not near Zurich HB, but at least you could charge a reasonable locker fee. We had stated in our booking that our flight would arrive earlier than your check-in time. We thought you as a hotel would probably help keep our baggages but you asked for CHF 26 for our 4 small bags. It turns out we went back to HB to lock the bags by CHF 20. Your table inside the room is unnecessarily tiny (less than one-tenth of the living area) and we could work nowhere in the room. Maybe your design encourages visitors to share common facilities but the kitchen was small (only 1 sink basin) and everything so messy that we were forced to eat out for every meal. The bathroom was disproportionately big, only occupying useless space with a shower cubicle that was not watertight!

Beautiful and clean hotel, it is very close to the train station, Zurich Manegg is the name of the station. It’s kinda far away from the town. But you can take the train to the main town, takes 10-15 minutes with the train. Will cost you 4-5 Swiss francs. Hotel has a kitchen for the guests, where you can cook your own food. If you’re lazy to cook, you can order pizza for reasonable price 13-17 francs. Depending on which pizza you want.

The air conditioning was terrible, we had to ask the front desk to lower temperature since there is no control in the room. The room did not have coffee/tea facilities. The breakfast was ok, lobby was very noisy

We had a great time, with four children, this hotel is the right solution. To the center of Zurich by train in about 10 minutes, you can walk or run around the hotel, there is a grocery store ( Spar). Friendly staff at the hotel, you can cook your own meals in the shared kitchen, wash and dry your clothes (for a fee)...Great hotel.
