Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaWe enjoyed our stay, but if there’s one thing we didn’t love, it would be the pillows – they were a bit too soft for our preference, which made it hard to get truly comfortable at night. It would be great if there were firmer options available for guests.
We recently stayed at this hotel as a family and had a pleasant experience overall. The location was ideal – it’s slightly away from the city centre, offering a quieter environment, but still very convenient with a nearby train station for easy access to major attractions. We appreciated having cafes and a supermarket close by as well. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, and the laundry service was excellent, which was a big plus for us. Our room, while on the smaller side, was clean, and tidy. Breakfast was good, though the selection could have offered a bit more variety. The staff was generally helpful, though we felt some could have been a little friendlier. The Indonesian gentleman on the team was especially friendly and made a positive impression. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for families looking for a peaceful, convenient location and good basic amenities.

Slovenia1.) I'm still not sure how our bill increased by 100€ for breakfast since our original booking listed breakfast included. But I immediately started getting mails with breakfast (extra) options, so not quite sure what happened. 2.) The location is a bit out of center (cca 15min by train) which is not much of a problem once you figure out their transit system. 3.) All the rooms have controlled heating, which means you cannot set it yourself. While it wasn't cold it was a bit on the chilly side for our family of four.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Told us some nice way of saving money when travelling in zurich. Wifi worked without any problems. The hotel also offers and underground garage at a reasonable price (25 CHF per night as opposed to 2 CHF per hour on the street). Since this is a combination hotel / hostel and offers laundry and a kitchen where you can prepare your meals if you want.

United KingdomHowever, there were quite a few families and young kids, and some intoxicated kids were playing outside the guest rooms around 1 am. Since there was no phone in the room, the only way to ask them to keep the noise down was to tell them directly or go to the reception.
This was our second stay here, and the room was as good as always.

Czech RepublicThe mattress and the pillow were some of the least comfortable ones that I've experienced on my travels. It would be a great improvement to have a private mini-fridge in the room. The shared fridge downstairs was completely packed and you have to hope nobody will steal your food.
Even though the hotel is outside of the city center, it's only 5 minutes walk to local train stop and further 10 minute ride to Zürich HB. Hotel was quiet (at least on the 6th floor) and clean. Smooth check-in and check-out. Plenty of room downstairs to enjoy your own food or drinks.
