Room card, which is used to turn on light in a room and let you in during the night (btw why if you have 24hrs reception?) was laggy, so once I was stuck in the night waiting for someone to let me in, since receptionist was busy with smth else. No cups to drink tap water in the room. You can't open a window for fresh air unless you ask for a key at reception and if you do so and open it, heating stops to function. And since in my room ventilation was not really working properly, you either opt for fresh air or heat in the room (but not both at the same time).

Like many hotels this facility also reduced room cleaning during stay to 0 - suggesting that cleaning will take place on request only. However, such system makes sense only, if cleaning on request is really taking place and the hotel is able to control this. In our case the service did not work - the price for the hotel is to expensive for a room without cleaning service. Bar closes at 11pm which is rather early considering that surrounding area has no restaurants.

I like the family rooms of this hotel - they just have what is needed - including USB-ports at each bed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Check-in is simple and fast. Accessibility by car is excellent, for public transport though location is not ideal.

the hotel was not as clean as we would have hoped to be, when we had our room serviced by HSK they did not provide towels. We did not use the shared Kitchen but it was very very unsanitary.

There is no room cleaning on daily basis... And no room freshner or bathroom spray is there for better ambiance. Limited breakfast and dinner options.

I had a very bad experience dealing with a young lady working the front desk during the day shift. I asked her question about nearest store by the hotel and she responded with “you can look it up online” then I asked for her colleague name who was an older man that checked us in, really nice gentleman and she rudely tells me “ you can ask him yourself”. I don’t know if it had anything to do with me being a black man from the United States but she was very very disrespectful and unprofessional. so I looked for a manager later that day and reported the incident to the manager.

The tap in the bath is just useless - designed for water saving but it is simply impossible to wash your hands without having water splashes all over your clothes, very poor design. Portier is just near the door and when you hang your stuff it does not close, very poor design. The bed is not comfortable. The plug socket is not suitable for standard wide laptop-like chargers, very poor design. To simply open the window, it is written to ask to reception. When you ask to reception, they ask you to double check if the window is unlocked. You should follow your own instructions, too much efforts to get some fresh air plus unfriendly staff at reception. The worst interior and useless interior hotel design I have ever seen, hope that review makes you reconsider the compensation between "green" design and easiness.

1) Breakfast the staff were very rude. 2) The bed mattress is like sleeping on rocks. 3) the staff do not respect the customers and people with disabilities, 4) It is way over priced and its not an hotel, 5) No form of food or drink after 10:30pm, only a machine. 6)

What did I like about this place? - absolutely none. The place was marketing itself as hotel, but it is not, and it is a bit far out from the main city centre. You can only get here by train, but I am not sure about the buses. Plus, you must walk about 20 minutes from the local train station and the directions are poor to find this place. Be warned, Switzerland is very expensive to buy things.
