How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Close to City of Zurich and main station. Nice clean room and bathroom, comfy bed. Very quiet at night. We had 4 bookings with the hotel, on days we were visiting other cities, the staff happily stored our large bags for us. Highly recommend this hotel.

As it's 3 star hotel the sleepers are not available but it's would very handy and welcoming detail, especially for those clients who stay more than just one night or two.
The location is great, it's in a quiet part of the city but still very close to the old town. Polite and kind staff. Cleanliness 10 out 10. Very good sound isolation though you could hear a bit the morning cleaning in the corridor.

The bathroom shower head splashes the water all around the bathroom. For such a nice room this is a weird and not very functional shower design. Could you replace this shower heads with something more user-friendly?
Really decent place, close to the centre of Zurich. The rooms are clean and bright ( a bit too bright) and the TV displays a nice fireplace which adds the cosiness to the room.

The shower heads could be a bit upgraded. The shower splashes the water all around the bathrooms, not sure who designed them in such a way :( On a different note, I ordered a taxi to the airport from the hotel and I was not informed that this is a fixed fee service :( so I paid 90 euros for a 10 minutes drive :(
Very clean and comfortable rooms, decent size and bright. The beds were comfy and the room was really clean. The check in and check out process was fast and efficient. The breakfast was also quite good!

Good location, nice clean room, very helpful staff even with post- stay experience where I was accidentally double charged and the refund was prompt and helpful. Simple motel, no refrigerator, kettle or toothbrush / toothpaste.

It was a bit expensive for what it was, but that is partially down to Switzerland being an expensive country generally and Zürich especially so.
Nice decor, friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Location is decent but not amazing if you are travelling by train.

Ground floor room was difficult and complicated to find. Had to go up elevator one floor then down some stairs. Reverse when leaving the room.

The person that checked us in was not really friendly.Most rooms are very small and are facing the building of the opposite side . The room rates is pretty high considering that breakfast was not included and there wasn't even a kettle in the room.Breakfast can be very crowded at times.
It's in a great location. Near to the tram station and very central. Rooms are very clean. .

I have no complaints.
The room was a generous size, with comfortable bed and pillows. The room, even though it looked out onto a street was very quiet.

Not that close to Zurich Hb, we use public transportation most of the time! Small rooms and bath towels a little bit old in my opinion! Ventilation on the bathroom very poor ! Is most of a 7out of 10

Very very basic room without any extra service in the room no mini bar no coffee no cups or spoons. So very basic only bed and shower. And if you are couple you will get two separate blankets.
Beautiful hotel , very clean , kind stuff and not far away from main area and train stations about 15 minutes walk.

No air conditioning. Had to open windows for air flow. Needed air to turn lights on. And no international channels on TV or able to stream any apps.
It was a beautiful property with nice comfortable rooms and in a great location.
