Smokers underneath balcony but being so close to the pub you have to expect it.

Wonderful balcony. Room with a view lived up to expectations.

Wonderful hotel within walking distance of everything. Close to the train and boat docks but not noisy. Beautiful view out my balcony!! (See attached photo) Bed was comfortable, though the pillows were a bit soft for my taste. Room was basic but very clean! The only disappointment I experienced was trying to sleep with the window open for cool air and people smoking outside the pub caused me to need to close it. To be expected when you're rooming over a pub ;) Overall wonderful stay!

The place is quirky and cute. The room was perfect for a solo traveller, including a very welcomed small desk to get some work done. After checkout one doesn't even need to walk in through the pub, allowing for privacy and discretion if desired.

Staff was basically someone working at the pub. When the pub was closed, there was no one. However, the pub staff was wonderful and helpful when they were there.

Location! Price! It had a fun, quirky vibe.

We LOVED staying at the Hotel Pickwick! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and appreciated! We were greeted and checked in by Felicia - so professional, friendly and helpful! We saw her often though out our visit, and she was always so pleasant and warm-how lucky they are to have her on their staff! Such a nice hotel in excellent location. The pub and restaurant below is super popular with good food and drinks. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Lucerne!

Price is little high, however it worth.

Staff are so friendly and know how to make the guests happy and make their staying easier and comfortable. Special thanks to Ramona, Sherii and Magi, they are so helpful and professional. Location is fantastic as it is central and scenery at the same time and the view is unbelievable. In addition it is so close to the central Train & bus station around 5 to 7 minutes walking. Rooms are so clean and comfortable and includes all requirements.

You can't avoid the noise from the street below if you have the windows open. It was bearable for us though.

The room was very spacious, more than sufficient for 2 medium pieces of luggage and personal belongings. Great view of the Chapel Bridge from the room.

The location is perfect and our room had a balcony that looked right over Chapel Bridge. The hotel itself is above the pub restaurant, where we enjoyed lunch when we checked in. The room itself was clean and had all the essentials, nothing fancy but it was perfect for me and my wife. The locations really cannot be beaten, in the center of old town. We parked our car at the train station which is just a 10 minute walk away. We stayed for 2 nights in December and the Christmas market was steps away from the hotel. This was my second time visiting Luzern and I would love to come back to this hotel.

Some walls are a little thin, and floors a little uneven, but otherwise it was a good hotel!

The view and location was excellent, and the pub served us food and brought it to the room, despite not being obliged to! Very good
