The shower was very narrow and leaked to the floor of the bathroom. The heather was difficult to control and was generally cold. About the spa, it was a naked spa but there was no information in booking and this information was not indicated at the checi-in which created a very unpleasant situation right in the first day.

The room was spacious, comfortable, well decorated, big tv with screen cast.

There is nothing I can say I did not like, it would be unfair to the facility and the staff.

It exceeded my expectations, a comfortable facility next to the tram stop and close to the city.

In the room, the tv was mounted a little bit to the right and there were paintings displayed in front of the bed which i feel like its a bit strange. Not usual than what im used too. This means if you want to watch tv you should be sitting down at the chair otherwise you have to lay on your side.

Its a big spacious room. The hotel itself is designed to be very spacious. Cozy room. The facilities are excellent though i did not get the chance to use them. The hotel is very close to good restaurants.

Fairly dated furniture and fittings in room. Instant coffee available in room rather than anything better.

Plenty of restaurants nearby. Convenient Central Basel location. The check-in terminal in the reception was not easy to use, required or a lot of information which it should have had already from the booking.

The website says free airport shuttle…not true, they call a cab and arrange one. Cost the same as taxi we took on our own from airport. Dinner was marginal for the price .

Staff was informative and helpful. Supplied plugs for our electronics.

Cleaning of the room was subpar. Don't look under the installation under the window, that area was not cleaned in ages...

Room very dusty and really needed a damp dusting to pick it all up! We didn’t think the chairs in the room were that comfortable. Room also very dark even with the lights on. You do get tram noise if situated at the front of the hotel as we were. Best to ask for a room at the back which hopefully would be quieter.

Excellent location, friendly staff, food in restaurant very good too. Compared to other hotels it’s good value for money. Beds very comfortable Free water, fruit and sweets available all day in the foyer which was a nice touch.

Our room was not serviced during our stay. The tea / coffee was not replenished and we had to ask for milk.

The location is great for the old town and the SBB. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The pool is clean and quiet.

No hotel should have a buffet for lunch :-) Just does not fit and its a bit lazy me thinks. Apart from that its a very comfortable hotel. Will stay again.

Very central and very elegant hotel. Super friendly staff. Rooms and beds very comfortable. Nice place to stay and explore Basel or like myself just to stay 1 night on business. Very nice restaurant.

Well, under the bed was so filthy to not believe, also fungus in the shower drain, from a hotel with this price range....

Location of the hotel is great, parking also, breakfast perfect.

- I didn’t like the pet hanger, but just used the “Do not disturb” one instead.

- Location: was just a short walk from the train station and just around the corner to the theatre and the town centre. - Comfy bed. Everything nice and clean. - Staff friendly and helpful.

People walking butt naked out of the saunas which was bit odd.

Very central and easy to get to. When we complained about the smell of the room. The room was changed right away which was appreciated as we had two little ones. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were also. The swimming pool.

hallways, no natural light and tiny. tiny bathroom and no slippers in the room,water comes out from the shower with closed cabin door.

Good sized room, comfy bed, good bathroom with excellent shower. Breakfast buffet had a large range/choice and was very tasty. We checked out the pool - amazing! Staff were very helpful - thanks Laura with printing help, and Christian for information at check in.

I hoped the pool water was warmer, but it's more like swimming pool temperature.

Nice cosy room, lot's of photographs on the walls in the corridors, nice ambiente. Very friendly staff. Nice big pool more for swimming than relaxing. Good location, right next to Tram-Stop: Heuwaage.
