Currently, the tramlines in the area near the hotel were under maintenance for a couple of months. This was a temporary inconvenience. But alternatives were 4-5 minutes walk away

The location is convenient for reaching the train station and city centre areas. There are tram services just outside the hotel. The swimming pool is of a good size for a proper swim. The fitness centre is adequately equipped. The staff are friendly and helpful

We were very disappointed about the breakfast which was located in some sort of conference room which reminded us of a large gym hall This was apparently due to some drag show brunch event. We were very disappointed as this ruined our whole hotel experience.

The self service check in / check out was not welcome, especially arriving late after travelling and to not be able to speak to a member of staff at the time. The room itself was fine and was clean / well maintained but the whole atmosphere felt soulless.

The property was ok but not exceptional, the disappointing aspect was the staff. On first arrival they were smiley happy and welcoming. Once checked, the staff never smiled or said good morning. It appeared that their training ( should not need training) is to welcome and then ignore guests. Oddly the cleaning staff were must more cheerful and friendly, always saying good morning etc.

The main reason for booking this hotel was that the children enjoy swimming and exercising. We originally planned to relax and engage in leisure activities at the hotel. However, the water in the swimming pool was a bit cold and not temperature-controlled. Additionally, the gym staff informed us that even with parental supervision, children were not allowed to use the treadmill, making it the only hotel I've stayed at that doesn't allow children to use exercise equipment under parental supervision.

Breakfast extremely expensive so we didn't add it on. Bed was so uncomfortable- matress and pillows....

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was immaculate and very modern. Room was a good size. Extremely good location. Only a 5minute walk from Basel zoo (highly recommend) and you can be on the high street in a couple of minutes, altstadt not much further.

We had fun in this hotel, enjoyed the pool with whole family, easy parking place next door to the hotel, very convenient. Lovely staff, young & friendly. Very well located, 5 mins to the city-center, public transportation/train station on the next corner.

The bathtub had sewage in it. The room wasn’t quality checked. The staff were very apologetic and changed rooms. But it was a very bad experience for the money we paid for a night

From the moment we arrived, the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The facility was ideal for a family and easy to access museums, restaurants, and attractions.

first, we were mistakenly given a room that was occupied by other guests. then we changed rooms and checked into a room that had constant flow of room spray. We left the windows open the whole day, but the mysterious room spray kept getting refreshed. they couldn't find the source of that smell, but the whole room stank of cheap room spray. on the second night we asked to change room again, and we were checked into a room that had an unlocked door that connected to the adjacent room, so we had to wait for somebody to come and lock the connecting doors. the breakfast time was so crowded that it was hard to find a table.

Well, I liked the staff. The room was nice, but it would be better if we could get a better view of room, because it was literally looking into other rooms. Could not let curtain or window opened as we wished.

Heating was blowing cold, didn’t get warmer. when we called reception, nobody picked up the phone. Luckily room wasn’t so cold we turned it off totally. Parking for their customers is 30 CHF which is very expensive.
