How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The air conditioning in the room never seemed to work well, and it was hot in Geneva! I would have put the few hangers provided (no closet) on the wall next to the toilet instead of right at the door - any clothes hung on them blocked the opening and closing of the door. I paid for breakfast with the room, but no one ever checked during breakfast so it seems like anyone could just eat for free?
The staff was great, especially Rafaele at the breakfast bar - very sweet, he remembered my coffee order each day and was very helpful with information about the city. Room was comfortable, if small, and had a great balcony with a view! My room was on the top floor, where reception and the bar are, so very convenient but room was still very quiet. Great option to trade housekeeping services for cocktails, they were delicious. The hotel location is perfect! Right near the center of old town Geneva, minutes from stores and food, with great immediate access to trams and buses that take you anywhere you want to go.

There was a strange noise, like static all night in the room, made sleeping very difficult.
Lovely modern hotel. very clean and friendly staff. Very good location with the whole of Geneva easily accessible on foot.

The galley on each floor for tea and coffee could have been better stocked
Perfect for a city break in Geneva. Self service facilities make check in and check out super easy but also help is at hand in the bar should you need it. The rooms are clean and cosy. The bar has a great vibe with a good selection of drinks.

Smaller room size, capsule-like hotel. Wish there was a fridge. Ideal for a single person
Incredible staff, great atmosphere and amazing roof top. Breakfast was excellent, I was worried looking at the reviews. Yet after spending 2 nights at the hotel, this surprised me- breakfast offers a wide range of quality products, eggs, cheeses, breads, pastries, juices, even tomatoes and mozzarella salad, fresh fruits and yogurts/ dairy alternatives. I would definitely come back and highly recommend the breakfast on the great rooftop (which is extremely present at anytime of the day or night!) Staff was extremely kind, helpful, friendly and accommodating. Warmly recommended

Friendly, centrally located hotel with a great roof top bar. All the staff were so helpful, with a big shout out to Alejandra in reception who helped us to find some of the best sites in Geneva

Maybe one thing I would recommend management to change: - For some reason cleaning staff gathered on our floor (floor 6, room 626) before their shift. They were in the hallway for at least 30min talking quite loudly. It woke me up twice, although I mentioned it to them the first time around. This is the first time ever this happened to me and I travel very often, both for business & leisure. I find it quite unprofessional. Especially if it wakes up your guests (!). Really wondering if there’s no better place to hang out before a shift starts and if not, maybe keep the voices down?
Excellent location to explore Geneva. I recommend and would come back. I especially liked free water in the reception area and the Ruby Green program. The program is designed to help save on water used during cleaning of the rooms & towels. If you opt in, you keep your room tidy yourself and towels are changed once every 3 days, but in exchange you get a cocktail vouchers per person per stay. I really appreciated this effort! In general: - Close to public transportation, but everything is also just within 20/30min walking distance from the hotel. - Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Especially the receptionists and bar personel. They make a mean cocktail and the bar is open 24/7! - Rooms are very trendy, with a glass shower in the room. You can close it off it, but leaving it open, also opens up the space. Plus you can watch tv from the comfort of the shower. 😂

The central location of the hotel is very convenient and the staff was kind and helpful when checking in. Considering it’s Switzerland, the price is very reasonable for what you get!

is only cashless, you can pay only by card. has no fridge in the room and is not an exact hotel. is just a room and it has a 24/7 bar.

The breakfast buffet was stupid expensive for the selection and the beds were really firm with pillows that are just too puffy.
