Small double room is a bit too small for a couple, not enough room to unpack clothes etc. There is a really big lack of privacy in the bathroom as it’s connected to the room just through a glass panel.

Property is well located, well maintained with lovely and helpful staff. Rooms and facilities are clean. Would come back to the hotel again.

There was no one to help with our luggage, but that's the concept of the hotel.

We were upgraded upon arrival. Very easy self check-in with assistance from attentive receptionist/barman. The room was spacious with nice little details, such as Marshall speakers. Great location, very close to the train station and next to Bahnhofstrasse.

The room was incredibly small, for the price of course. Zurich being one of the most expensive city on earth, I am aware that we probably wouldn't get that much out of the money we paid, but it wasn't a small sum. The entire hotel was new and chic, probably the "nicest" we've been in Switzerland, but the lack of living-space made it extremely difficult for us to fully appreciate and enjoy our stay.

Did not try the breakfast at Ruby Mimi, but walking by the bar area, breakfast looks really good. I would've wanted to try. Location is probably as good as gets, close to pretty much the central area of tourism; it couldn't have been any better. Which is also the reason why I didn't purchase breakfast cause there were many food shops around.

The hotel is in a great location, close to shops, restaurants bars and transport. The staff are friendly and efficient and made the stay easy and enjoyable. Rooms are a good size and very clean and comfortable. The bar is amazing and the service there is also great Highly recommend.

The size of the room was very small and it was an upgrade. Went to the gallery for a cup of coffee but it did not meet my expectations, it was a sink with instant coffees

As others have said, the design of the room is not practical. Although I'm not a room designer, I could do a better job of arranging furniture so you don't have to side shuffle along the base of the bed to move sides. The lean luxury policy of only offering essentials (which is not a kettle) also amused us. In what world is a kettle not essential compared to an amplifier and old fashioned radio, which each room is equipped with? We then had to trudge around floors to find the tea and coffee room (the one on our level ran out both mornings) and use a non sustainable plastic lid for our coffee. The rooms were certainly not sound proof - we heard the shrieks of the kids next door, people clattering above and along the hallways. Bring airplugs. Although I think some ideas are good and they are trying to be different, they miss the mark at times on providing comfort for the average traveller.

The mattress is super comfortable, the location is ideal, and it was very clean and sparkly. The idea to swap a room clean with a cocktail is a genius idea on their behalf to save on cleaning wages and keep guests happy, and I was all for this.
