I really liked the location, facilities, breakfast, the bar, the services and how friendly and helpful the staff was. I can easily recommend the hotel and will be back there myself (and would like to try the older part of the hotel)

The hotel was great, we didn’t realise just how good the location is. A 5 minute walk to the tram stop which is a central hub for the team system. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance also. The hotel itself was very clean and sleek, room was a good size and bed was large and comfortable. I can’t really fault anything with my stay here.

Only problem was not being able to shut the sliding bathroom door. Had to wedge a slipper in to stop it sliding back. Not a huge issue though.

Location, location location! Really central in terms of old town, tram and bus stop nearby. But ever so quiet in the evenings. Slept so well. Facilities, were clean & modern. No noise from the street. Shower was amazing & separate toilet to bathroom was a big plus.

We loved our stay, nothing to fault. The hotel is set across several buildings, we stayed in an annexe across a quiet road from the main building, we didn't find this a problem. The room was spacious, spotless and modern. Tea and coffee were provided, aswell as a minibar. Beds were comfortable and bedding of an excellent quality. Breakfast was delicious, with a good choice, eggs and bacon cooked to order. Location was excellent, although in a very quiet street, a two minute walk and your in the centre and old town and access to trams to take you across the city and upto the train station. Staff are friendly and couldn't do enough for you. They provided all information we needed. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Thank you.

Bed mattresses were hard. Comforters were thin for winter-time, and no extra blankets. Very small closet with only 5 hangars. Not enough space to hang clothes for two travelers. Also: no hooks by the door to hang your winter coats, no hooks in the bathroom to hang your bathrobe. No folding luggage rack to put your suitcase on, which meant you had to be on your knees on the floor getting your clothing out of your suitcase every day. Only one chair in the room, which meant we could not sit down together and eat whatever we cooked in the kitchenette.

Fantastic staff, nice size room, perfect climate control in the room (warm and cozy now in the winter, cool and refreshing when we stayed in the summer two years ago). Indoor slippers and bathrobes were nice extras. Wonderful smelling soap and lotion. Two different kind of pillows in the bed: soft and hard. Plenty of food storage space in the kitchen area. Nice lighting. Modern design, nice big window, good ventilation, airy, fresh and clean smell everywhere.

The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable which was appreciated after a long flight from the United States. The shower was also amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is outstanding, walking distance to the city center. We went to visit the Christmas Markets which were easy to access from the hotel. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommend.

Ask for a room not next to the elevator, can be a little noisy!

Great location, courteous staff, comfortable. Enjoyable breakfast even though you had to walk across the road to the main facilities. This may be an issue for some, our research did not inform us of this. The Basel card provided was brilliant.

The hotel has in room controlled heating and air conditioning. It would have been nice if instructions on how to operate the controls were provided. It would have been very helpful.

Breakfast was outstanding. Fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheeses, croissants-both plain and chocolate, yogurt, juices, and coffee drinks and eggs per order. It does not get much better than this. Service was excellent as was the food.

For us it was a bit too cold in the room, although we put the heating on max. (I’m not sure the regulator was working)

The room was stylish and clean with all the necessary things, I also enjoyed the view. Despite the tram, the location is pretty quiet. Very friendly staff and tasty breakfast.

I love the location,walking distance to some tourist spots and the tram system is easy to navigate.The staffs are wonderful and welcoming that makes our stay even more enjoyable.The breakfast is something that we look forward to everyday.A lot of really good restaurants around the area.
