One of us didn't find the mattress comfortable. The coffee from the WMF machine at breakfast was bitter.

We chose the hotel for the location near the zoo and convenient to public transport. We liked the hardwood floors, the Nespresso machine, the minibar, and the smart TV. Breakfast was very good.

Everything was good about this hotel. The room was big enough for a solo traveller. It was clean, tidy and came with all the amenities you may need (eg. robe, slippers, iron etc.). The balcony view of the mountains was good (shame it was foggy). Having the option to have breakfast in your room was great (very nicely presented and plentiful). Staff were friendly. Location was great and you can easily reach the city centre via the tram (short walk away).

The beds were a bit hard. The food was overpriced. But it’s Zurich and everything is more expensive it seems.

The location was up on a hill and the views were breathtaking. The tram was just down the road but we ended up taking Ubers and they came very quickly.

Slightly too warm in hotel room, couldn't seem to get room temp right. I did ask for twin, we got a double with separate single duvets but bed big enough.

Breakfast was a little limited in choice (no bacon or sausages) but what was available was nice.

Where the property was located was fantastic (20 min tram ride from main train station) as it backed onto the most magical forest with walking tracks, therefore was lovely and quiet. The room we had was great, beds comfy, decent space, with a couch and area for luggage and enjoyed use of the Nespresso machine in the room. Clean. The Fondue Chalet (on the property) was such a wonderful traditional Swiss experience. We had the fondue and it was delicious. Overall a lovely hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and can highly recommend it. My room was comfortable and provided everything needed for a pleasant stay. From the balcony I had a stunning view of Lake Zurich and the Alps. The staff were friendly as well as professional and the breakfast was also excellent, offering a wide variety of options. The location is very quiet – the Zurich Zoo is within walking distance and I appreciated the convenience of safely parking my car in the hotel's underground garage. Overall, my stay was very enjoyable and I look forward to returning in the future.
