Everything! The location is unbeatable, the terrace is privileged and the view breathtaking. Great to have breakfast (plenty of options) and dinner (delicious) every day. The rooms are simple, comfortable and clean. There are no additional facilities but what else do you need when you have such a beautiful place and plenty of activities all around?! The staff was welcoming, very kind and friendly. Lot of (public and paying) parking space at the entrance of the village, 100m. max. from hotel.

This place was our favorite out of the entire three week trip across Europe. The staff here make sure to go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We were there for their 10 year anniversary and it was a cool event. The town of Soglio is absolutely beautiful. Rooms were clean and modern, 10/10

It is, inevitably, a little rustic and the direct approach to reception is via a steep stairway. Access to the bedrooms involves another steep, external and uncovered stairway. The car park is a small metered public one at the entrance to the village 200 metres from the hotel and it is busy. The only other reservation is that, even by Swiss standards, prices for meals and wine are on the high side.

It has a fantastic location at the entrance to the beautiful, unspoiled village of Soglio and with the most extraordinary views across the Val Bregaglia to the Bregaglia range and the Val Bondasca. The young staff team are brilliant, incredibly helpful and multi-lingual. The buffet breakfast was good and the restaurant food verging on fine dining. The terrace overlooking the valley on which drinks and restaurant meals are served is lovely. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Simply stunning.

Soglio is one of the most attractive villages in Switzerland and the Stüa Granda is a very well priced and appointed hotel in which to experience it. The staff are friendly and efficient, the kitchen and food are excellent and the rooms are comfortable and a decent size.

Minor note: the kitchen radio music was loud enough to impeded the dining experience. Very early in the season and few travelers made for a quiet room.

The hotel has a lovely terrace and garden that are ideal for enjoying pre dinner drinks. Soglio is a beautiful village and after the long hike from Casaccia it was so good to arrive at this hotel. The rooms are very well appointed (modern chic) and dinner was very good.

We lived our stay the only negative is that it's across the street from a church and we aren't used to the church bells ringing every hour.

The breakfast was really good as well as the 2 dinners we had there. My husband highly recommends the wild deer on the menu. In his words the best meal of our vacation.

There were no facilities in the room. Not even a kettle to boil water and a couple of mugs. A small fridge would be great too.

It was a great location with wonderful staff. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Beds were very comfortable.

Not particularly comfortable furniture (no loungers or cushions for chairs), rooms poorly sound-proofed (neighboring guests could be heard sneezing, talking, walking around, etc.). Not necessarily the place for pure peace and quiet although the location might suggest this. Breakfast was average (based on personal taste, e.g. cheapest Lipton tea, I was slightly disappointed that there were no eggs, no margerine, only butter), not complaining, just not as delightful as the location

Wonderful location, room had a small, nice balcony with a magnificent view (room 6), roomy clean bathroom, wonderful, inviting terrace with great view. Very friendly and helpful breakfast lady.
