Nothing to dislike

The Hotel Steinbock is super-conveniently located: 50 m from the train station (for Wengen's ski are as well as connections to Interlaken), and even nearer to the cable car that connects to Muerren. Cosy hotel, very friendly helpful staff, good value for the region.

Very good location, perfect for tourist without a car. There is a small parking fee which will be collected upon check-in for tourists with a car. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly!

Being so close to the Hbf means it was busy. Quite noisy from early on so not the most peaceful venue. I didn't mind it, but others may if they want a peaceful retreat.

The bathroom was shared which wasn't very great experience.

The location is right next to station and offers panaromic views of the entire valley.. The staff here are also friendly. It's a cosy stay .

Room heater was not working as the weather changed suddenly and there was snowfall on Murren. No lift/elevator so it was difficult to take luggage to 2nd floor.

Location was amazing, must recommend this hotel to friends. Next to zipline that takes you to Murren top where view was exceptional and like heaven. Near to the local market and waterfall. Comfort bed, cleaning was good, very helpful staff. Very good breakfast, Good car parking locations, We surely will book again... :)

There was a bad smell coming from one of the floors when passing by it, maybe from some storage room at the hotel.

The room and the shared bathroom were clean and the breakfast was good.

There‘s a dark-haired waitress at the restaurant (not the hotel - though they‘re one) who was a bit rude. She dismissed us and ignored us while we were trying to order for dinner.

The room is nice and had a good view. It‘s also just one minute away from the station so it wasn’t so stressful for us. They also let us store our lugggage before checkin. The staff are also very helpful, especially the long-haired blonde lady.

The welcome was not good, at least for Americans and Caribbean tourists. We are friendly and especially welcoming to everyone. The lady was very rude.

There was no much that we didn't like. It was a simple room, and we knew that when booking. Our room was in another building a little further away, but still very convenient location

The room was clean and tidy, and perfect for what we needed it for! The location was perfect, right next to restaurants, shops, and transportation (but it was not noisy at all). The staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed talking with them. The associated restaurants was great as well. We spent both nights there, loved the food and the atmosphere/ambiance was so cute. Such a great value for the price, we would definitely stay here again.

Honestly value for money was not there. But Switzerland is expensive, both food, accommodation and tours. Would have stayed longer but would have had to take a bank loan.

The light switches in the hallway which shut off a few minutes after they were turned on - not long enough to go to the bathroom.

On a scale of 1-10 (10=highest), I rate everything a 7, except the lack of a sink in my room which lowered my rating of the room and the breakfast which was a 9+. My room had one bed, which I liked, compared to another room where my sister and her husband oktoomuy

There was no elevator, which was fine but just be warned. The bed was also pretty hard, but that might be personal preference for me.

It was very close to the train station and bus station. The staff were incredibly friendly and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. I also had dinner here and it was very tasty and nice that I could just go right up stairs afterwards.

The rooms very small but was aware this would be the case as everything expensive in Switzerland. The bed was probably the only complaint, very hard,. but despite this wouldn't change a thing, Just accept Switzerland is extremely expensive for us Aussies but worth the visit, the beauty takes your breath away!

Location: literally right outside the Lautrrbrunnen train station and also the cable car. Close to town and walking distance to the waterfalls. Small Coop just below the hotel. Room: one of the more spacious room we had in Switzerland Breakfast: Wide variety and yummy selection of breakfast Personnel: Super friendly and helpful reception. She even helped us carry a heavy luggage up the stairs. Didn't catch her name, young lady with long dark wavy hair and a beautiful smile.
