How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

one section of the street wasn’t so family friendly but very short section and easily avoided.
clean, no frills and not far from main station and tram stop. we didn’t experience any noise although we stayed Friday and Saturday night and were warned of party vibe nearby

There was a bar next to the hotel, and we got a room pretty much wall to wall with the bar. The music could be heard very loudly and late and it was difficult to sleep. I think the music stopped around 3 am.
The location of the hotel was great, close to the train station and many restaurants.

WiFi is very bad, at some positions in the room unavailable, there are night clubs around so it's quite noisy at weekends,you don't get your own key from the garage so somebody must come with you which is not easy and it slows you down, the pillow is terrible
Staff is at your service at all time, the location is near the center and the private parking is available

Reasonable for the clean room and convenient area. breakfast was optional, you can get bread, eggs, ham, cheese and coffee. the stuff at the front desk was very warm.

The breakfast was poor value for money. The car park charge was not told to me untill I arrived . It was very expensive. The shower leaked on the floor and the room needed some renovation. There was no tea or coffee in the room.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable but needed renovation. It was very quiet ànd a pleasant temperature.

Really good hotel and next to the central station. Really nice staff and they have a really good Brazilian restaurant at the hotel. Also 15 minutes from the airport by taxi/uber.

Property is near clubs and bars, was loud and disruptive all night making it difficult to sleep at night. Would advise unless looking to go out.

It is opposite a night club - very noisy and didn’t stop until the early hours of the morning. The hotel itself was fine - comfortable and lovely staff.

Barely anything. The room could have been slightly bigger for us to open both of our suitcases - but not a huge problem. I just unpacked mine and put it away, whilst my friend kept hers open in the corner. Some fixtures, like the AC and phone had quite a bright light on them at night, but we managed to just cover the phone at night and slept away from the AC light - but I'm being picky here!
We arrived early and were able to check in and go to our room, which was appreciated after an early morning flight/travel day. The room itself was what we expected. The room had a safe, which I somehow manage to fudge up within seconds of using it, and reception came up and helped immediately. The beds were comfy, the room was always warm which was great after being out in the winter air. Bathroom was nice and modern. The location of the hotel was great for us, everything was either a walk away or a bus/tram (We had Zurich Cards, so public transport was included). The main station was about 15-20mins walk away which wasn't too bad at all.
