Newly renovated hotel, lots of light wood and beautiful view on the waterfall. Its a quiet town and on the route of the spectacular Jaun pass. The staff is young, experienced and very friendly. Breakfast: Lovely bread and home made Jams. Very nice local cheeses and cold cuts as well as local yogurt were served. I love fruit and missed a little some cut fruits or fruit salad, but I know for most people this is not very high on their list. Fresh appels and oranges as well as juices were available. The breakfast complied very good to the type of hotel and the price of the room. The dinner was also very good. Simple, but fresh and well prepared. Very fresh salads, vegetables and meat perfectly cooked and flavoured. I can recommend this hotel for all who would like an excelent price vs Quality stay.

SwitzerlandThe price of the hotel was too high for what it delivered. The breakfast buffet was a free-for-all with no supervision and guests kept reusing their dirty dishes at the buffet (which is very unhygienic) because they couldn't find new, clean dishes and had no place to put dirty dishes. The restaurant for dinner was terrible. Service was slow and incompetent. Food was overpriced and one meal was undercooked. Aperol spritz was prepackaged and came in a glass with ONE ice cube. I'm accustomed to Swiss prices, but this place simply failed to deliver on all fronts.
The hotel room was nicely decorated. Thoughtfully renovated and very clean.

SwitzerlandDid not like the room, which was low-ceilinged, with one small window giving onto a public space and stupidly dominated by an expensive-looking, gimmicky bed that was not practical. TV only had 2 stations in German and staff couldn't fix it.
Great that there is a hotel in Jaun as it is on the Freiburger walk. Well-presented tasty food for dinner and a decent breakfast.

FranceThe room was small. The window opened basically on a shaft of light with absolutely no view at all and we weren't told about it beforehand. There were no paper tissues in the room. Restaurant is quite pricy and selection is restricted.
I liked the location in gorgeous mountains. Staff was very kind. Room was quiet, clean, nicely decorated. Breakfast was good, with a large variety of items.
