The breakfast is quite simple but at least we got a breakfast. Not sure but in Chile to get a breakfast outside of Santiago doesn't seem normal.

After a rainy day on a motorcycle, we got a heated and spacious room, which helped us to recover. When traveling the Carretera Austral, I can certainly recommend this hotel

The staff was very small, so it was a little difficult to find staff at times.

The room was big with a table and chairs and comfortable beds. The breakfast was ready when we needed with eggs cooked to order and plenty of fruits, breads and cereal. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We booked on the morning before we left Coyhaique and were messaged that we needed to pay in advance, our card hadn't been accepted, and they wanted to cancel our booking. We replied but after that had no data to get a reply on. When we arrived staff weren't expecting us and we had to wait for the owner to return. She seemed more interested in selling us tours than checking us in.

Lots of secure parking for our motorbikes and even space to wash all the Patagonia dust off them. Our room was large and had a small balcony overlooking the street. The town is so tiny you are a quick walk to everywhere.

Nothing in particular - price was a bit high for the kind of hotel.

Very nice and spacious room, with small kitchen, good shower and confortable bed. Very central position, close to the bus terminal and the lake. Staff was very helpfull and cheked us in much earlier than the normal check in time, which after a bus trip was very welcome.

Cabin and bathrooms a bit small if you travel with a group or family. Great if you are in a party of 2 or 3

Breakfast and location were of great standard. Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast very good, specially when compared to other options in the area.

We thought breakfast should have been included. But, the bakery we found nearby was delicious.

The cabanas are close together. So, it is not a rural experience. But, they were large, comfortable and well appointed. The properly was easy to find. Check in was obvious. The hostess was enthusiastic, chatty, helpful and very pleasant. Puerto Rio Tranquilo is small so it is easy to walk everywhere. It is a terrific little town. We wish we had more time to spend in both for the town and cabana.

The heating is through a wood burning stove. But the host didn't provide fire starters for us and after we requested some the next day, she brought some only to remove them again when we went to dinner. So starting a fire was almost impossible. In the end we burnt toilet paper to try to start that fire to keep warm. Be sure to ask her to give you fire starters and matches. (We also bought a lighter because the matches ran out).

Shabby place. Intrusive personnel. They urge you to buy a tour, when you have hardly arrived. Thin walls, you hear every word in the neighbouring room.

Janet at the front desk is amazing and helped with anything I needed, from excursion to finding a place to change money, including helping me track down my jacket that I forgot on the bus into town. The room was spacious and comfortable with its own heating thermostate, a microwave, kettle, sink, and basic utensils. Bed was extremely comfortable.
