Rooms were tired looking. Mould in the bathroom. The man at the checkout was not helpful. He told me that I couldn't claim the IVA back as I had paid in Chilean pesos on arrival. This was despite the lady saying I didn't have to pay it. I wouldn't stay there again.

Shower takes a bit of time to get hot water.

Location is great, it is right at the city centre. There are lots of things to do within 5 minutes walking distance (theatre, shopping malls, main square, the cathedral, museums, restaurants, etc.). The restaurant in the hotel has a great selection of local dishes (longanizas, pastries, etc.) as well international options (pasta, risotto, etc.). There is a coffee house with a great selection of cakes (freshly made) and "tablas" for sharing. I want to highlight the staff, they are quite friendly, in special Jovanna in the restaurant.

We arrived on a holiday celebration with most restaurants and shops closed.

This is an old hotel that still reflects the grandeur of days gone bye. The location is good and the breakfast well presented.

The toilet bowl flushing system was antiquated and didn't work well. The was mold between the ceramic on the walls of the bathtub.

My key card needed to be reset almost everyday for some reason. This was never fixed. There was also no comfortable sofa/love seat chair in the room. My air conditioner also didn't work the first day. This was fixed but I did spend one day without air cone.

The hotel is old, and even though it shows that they've worked to update its amenities and appearance, some parts have failed to impress, particularly the bathroom, which was not well-kept. The toilet seat was peeling off, and it was scary to enter the tub and bathroom in general.

Location, bed and breakfast were exceptional. The hotel is next to the cathedral and the main city square, providing a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable, with lots of extra bedding items. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of food, including different sorts of pastries as well as bread and fruit.

The rooms were a bit grubby and could do with updating.

As the name implies this looks like a hotel with a 'grand' past but, it has become a bit shabby. The bedrooms needed a coat of paint and a refurb of the bathrooms and the public areas were similarly looking a bit tired. However, the bed itself was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! We found the area a bit threatening but the hotel did provide safe parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

First of all my room was a real disappointment. The bed conforter had lipstick all Over the top. The bed skirt was broken( wholes at least 5 inches). The Curtains full of mold. The ac unit by the windows was disgusting, mold and the filter dirty.

Everything else. It was discusting to find bad food from another passenger. The AC had problems The bathroom is old and not well clean. The staff of the hotel is not friendly. The batteries of the remote control were not working. The rooms are old and not well cleaned. Every day after noob, the card for the rooms stop working SO we had to go downstairs to fix it. They Say it's normal ! The hotel it's not worth the Price we paid. Horrible.
